Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
You must be hitting the submit twice Keith
This timber was cut and left in the paddock for almost 17 years mate
White ant's have trouble with iron bark
Where the timber is was just as I split it...then moved to the stack.. which is as you said... I have a steel frame 6inchs above the ground covered with steel sheets.
The rain has finally moved away and I have just emptied 165mm out of the gauge. I will check the official Coombabah station later, but quite a few areas of the Gold Coast have had over 100mm. The sun is out so its time for a walk, before it rains again.
Cheers

Sunny and warm here today, about 14deg. Picked up another dog yesterday, 18month old pure black lady Kelpie, problem is have a male pure black kelpie and so far have made the mistake a number of times of thinking it was him but it was her. It's only when they're standing up that can tell the difference as she is much smaller and very skinny at the moment.
Took her for her first walk this morning and I got a good run out of it, when we got back let her go and she went troppo, ran rings round Dax and when the neighbours dogs arrived she ran rings round them. Been locked in a yard poor girl so she has a lot of energy to get out and today she has gone troppo running and jumping everything, including the dogs until she is buggered and can get her inside. After an hour or so she is ready to go again, so take out a guitar, sit down and watch her run round and round the driveway which is a big circle and long straight. Pretty funny to watch her leaping over Dax every time he gets close to her and he is stumped as to where she is, until he turns around as she is speeding toward him and leaps over him again, hilarious to watch.
A quick hello from Lara Wetlands. Internet is very hit and miss so I won’t post anything else till we get better service.
Did the Homestead tour with Jo, the owner, who started the Wetlands Camping in 2014. $20 per head might seem expensive but it was worth every cent as she spent 3 hours with the group. Coffee/ tea, scone with jam and cream included. She has a contract on the property so may not be around after Sept 30 if it goes through. It is a shame that she is leaving but good luck to her.
