Enough is enough

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

With all the fires and floods is there gonna be anything left of the country when we go to the Sapphire Coast in April?

9:30 and 30 degrees in Adelaide, roll on winter.

It rained so heavy here last night I was expecting to wake up to wet feet. Full thumbs up to who ever designed the storm water drainage for this area, our roof and guttering couldn't handle the amount of water falling and the back patio flooded because the roof just couldn't drain it off fast enough, so it ran backwards and poured inbetween the patio and house.
Looking out this morning, besides the football fields now being lakes, you would never know it happened.

Floods again here on the mid north coast. Getting to the point this is not unusual. This one was getting near the panic stage again. Got the message from the fire brigade at 9.pm Friday night to evacuate within 1-1/2 hours. I have all my bus stuff stored in the garage so panic stations. 2 hrs later we have the stuff in the garage stacked up on anything that looked like it was stable, then into the house getting as much as possible up. There is a limit just what can stack on top of other stuff. Last time time '09 we had 1m through the garage and lost heaps plus the car and 300mm through the house. Mud was unbelievable inches of this sticky stinking stuff that just clung to the feet. This time just missed the silver bullet, 100mm to go. Its heading south at the moment and now Kempsey and Port Macquarie are coping it.

Lots of thunder at the moment and some black skies, hopefully it breaks up. Another low in Qld and heading south. Still not getting furniture or bus stuff down for a bit yet.

Been to one produce agency for your little request but they do not sell them. Still more to go to though on way to Bundy.
