Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Footy colours Dot? These are really fragile bowls, don't think a footy team would like them    Glad Adelaide is kind to you, must admit if I had to visit a city, Adelaide would be my first choice. xxxx

Did the monthly big shop today, so no kiln work. The only thing that got hot was the oven. I made a yummy rye loaf of bread that had swirls of pumpkin, cheese, garlic and bacon through it. Made for yummo dinner.

Tonight I had caramel dumplings topped with cream and ice cream, couldn't taste it but it went down well. My friend called me via the computer so Brian and his mate Rosy had a sort of interest in each other but then Rosy ran off to play with her toys and Brian curled up again and back to sleep  Deborah with the footy colours for your glass creations I meant they would be good for a present for the mad footy people it could be a center piece on the table. Time to say goodnight everyone x:D Goodnight Tanks & Mr Major x :D Back to normal in a couple of days boys

Dot you sound like a real techy now. Talking to peeps on computer, with pics n all. Well done mate xxxx

David, you are right the bread was really one of my better bread creations. It was so good that the leftover bits were put in the sandwich toaster for lunch and it was really tasty.

I tried to make a vase today,, but it sort of looks a big bit weird. As the shape was dropping into the mould, the sides seemed to start to fold inwards and it looks a bit bizarre . Probably, it will be one for the melt it back down box, for another try at changing it into a useable object d'art.

That warm bed is calling, so night all xxx

Gee Dot you're popular. My phone rarely rings and if it does, I can't find it anyway. Stay warm down there xxxx

Today's blob is a very ugly blob. So it is definitely getting the hammer therapy soon. I seem to have a few different projects happening at once and all of them require different temperatures in the kiln. So there is a bit of a back log waiting their turn in the kiln.

“Hammer therapy”...
Never thought of it that way. 🤔
I get hammered most nights.
Is that the same thing??

Dot the vase was so ugly it wasn't even worth a photo. Watch out for the next weather pattern they are trying to send your way and keep your pussy warm xxxx

Ray, hammer therapy is always good here, not sure about the need to get hammered though. We chatted tonight about where our booze is, it has not been seen for a while and then we remembered that we put all of the supply into the van for our big trip (back in March) and the booze is still in the van. Obviously we are not big drinkers.

Today was hammer therapy as I wanted to make a lot of noise. We had visiting Chinese people at the next door air bnb thing. I think we have been so careful since March and then people come to reside next us from Sydney and they are from hot spot areas and have various cultural links to bigger groups, so I didn't want to encourage them to stay. I used my noisy dremel to make some strategic cuts to the vase and then let rip with the hammer. Ah such fun.

goodnight one and all xxx

We have redecorated the two spare bedrooms.
New paint, new carpet, new light fittings.
(Gotta do something in lockdown!)

SWMBO also rearranged my wine rack inside a wardrobe (yes, I'm a wardrobe drinker  :? ), moving all the bottles down so the racks were fully occupied, then removing the empty layers so g'daughter has somewhere to hang clothes next visit.
Trouble is, I had the bottles in date, region & grape variety clusters. I knew what was where, and when they were ready to pull one out for a special meal.

I think they're now in alphabetical order.

Another day's work sorting & re-stacking.
And sorting out (very gently) those which have thrown sediment.

Tomorrow. Goodnight all. :P
Regards & God bless,
Ray
