Covid Alert... REALLY!!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Ray, I very rarely visit Lambton other than driving through. About the only places I have visited lately are Bunnings and the local Chemist, both of which are just 750 metres away and practise very good social distancing.

Certainly to close to home George, we definitely need to stay home & only go out if essential & wear a mask, stay safe everyone.

I see on the latest news that Qld has closed the borders to NSW and the ACT as well as Victoria, SA has ramped up the restrictions because some twit has been sharing their virus across the community so we will probably be the next state to be locked out ......it's all back to square one, but this time it's no longer a novelty for the first few days or so, after having been through one lock-down all involved know what's ahead .... Stay safe peoples, Victoria has shown it can be a lot worse the second time around ..... I did see reports China is in the midst of its 3rd wave and they really know how to enforce a lock down so .......

Because I had the "indicators" I was classe as "at risk" and I had to experience the nasal swab and the down your throat swab as soon as the ambulance handed me over to the hospital nursing staff.
The minor discomfort was no problem as I was pumped up with the morphine injection.
As far as I am concerned:-- they could place the swabs in my rectum, or my left ear until it came out my right ear.
The swab test was to cover other people as well as myself. Because of the remote area of Dysart it took over one week to get the result, so full mask, gowns, gloves, etc until the results were received by the hospital.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

I think we should all remember:

:? A mask/swab is better than a ventilator.

:? Isolation at home is better than ICU.

So glad I live in Tas, hot august jazz and cool august blues festivals are happening here on the last weekend of August, will be so good to get back to a bit of normalcy, have some fun and see people enjoying themselves. Although at the moment our stupid government is demanding people be seated, no dancing social distancing and have a meal to get into the gigs. Yet when I went to a couple of venues last week to talk about gigs they wanted, it was normal, no social distancing, just people having a good time and catching up.

Just hope our leaders don't bow down to vested interests and relax border restrictions, sadly it looks like only full lock down works until, they get a vaccination for it.
