Dot, don't buy a new car until you can take it for a lot of long drives. We have to get our patrol serviced soon even tho it's only done 2000klms. Apparently if it aint serviced every 6 months, we void our warranty. Glad you liked the bowl, more will come soon. xxxx
The kiln gods were not as friendly today. I opened up to find the letters and numbers that i trying to build are looking awful. I will try another method of making them tomorrow. I am just not finding this challenge to be fun anymore.
Following Ray's suggestion, I too am going to find a pre-warmed bed.

P!ssing down all day today...
Have not been out to check the carport for a mudslide.
Dreading the thought.
Over-budget on Netflix, not much on free TV, so the electric blanket calls.
G’nite all. G’nite Tanks & Major — good to be home, I bet!

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
"tanks" here---
For the members who have not missed me on the forum:--
I have been in Dysart Hospital for the past 8 days and have now escaped and I have returned home to Major who made me very welcome, and was waiting at the front lounge room window (the members who have stayed at "THE DYSART BUNKER" will know whereb the front window is and the size of the window)
I miss all of the visitors this year.
Back to the story:-
I put up with the pain for 3 days, from a previous fracture at C-4 vertibrae, when I bent down to pick up Major's food bowl.
After 3 days on my home supply of Endone 3 times a day I gave in and phoned the ambulance at 01:00am.
Because of my elevated blood pressure and the fact that I had a bad cough from my emphysema, plus my temp was 38.9c they had to mark me as COVID RISK , which then required all the mask, gown, and gloves protection for the ambulance crew and the hospital staff.
I was "up-in-the-air from the morphine injection that the ambulance gave me for pain relief, before transporting me. Talk about high flying !!
Well after 8 days in the COVID RISK ward, I managed to talk the Doctor into letting me go home.
I reasoned that I did not need I/V pain relief and the Injections as I was now on oral pain relief (Endone x 4 hours day and night).
T-1 Terry, Newcastle George, and Ray from Grey Nomads, and many of the forum members know about the effects of those little tablets.
I have my own blood pressure machine, my own oxygen machine, my own O2 oxygen level finger thing, and my own nebuliser, plus I have my supply of the meds I am given from previous prescriptions, so I don't need to stay in the hospital when I can do everything at home that the hospital do for me while I occupy a bed.
The doc agreed with me when I expressed concern about one of the tablets I have to take reduces my immunity risk (prednislone) so I am now home with Major, who licked me and wagged his tail every time I looked at him.
My housekeeper who came to feed and exercise him and give him a run around the back yard every day told me that Major was sleeping on my bed instead of his own bed, and he chewed up my bedroom tv remote control. The housekeeper lady found the remote in the back yard, near the mango tree, so his tooth marks were all around the on/off button part of the remote and it was in pieces.
He is a well educated dog and evediently understands the on/off button. He is spoilt and wants to watch the bedroom tv before he goes to sleep on the master's bed while he is away.
I am home now and he has to sleep on his own bed. We have'nt tried the bed bit yet as I am still awake and reading the forum postings --it is 01:10 as I type this.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Welcome back to the Covid driven outside world. It's good to have you back where you belong [in the bunker with Major].
We also miss the chance to park up at the bunker this year but hope to make it next year as I'm just a little older than you.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
You "old fart" you are welcome any time you can get here, just don't have many more birthdays so as I can catch up with you.
It looks like the woman who runs this State is going to keep the gates shut for some time well into the future. Wait and see what 2021 brings as far as getting the gates open.
The latest is to exclude anyone from NSW and ACT frfom any entry

Tanks,
Welcome back to the land of the less-insane!
We’d love to park at the Dysart Bunker again!
However, we’d have to cross TWO closed borders... more than unlikely, bl**dy impossible!
Look out when the barbed wire comes down!!
Oh, and Keith, give Major a hug & a biscuit for us.
