Re: Good morning daily
I think that George and I wrangled one of those bus wheels onto the spare wheel holder just a while back. They are bloody heavy, as most would know. How did the ribs hold up George?
Cheers

Good morning all. Flo is the number plate on our Patrol when we bought her in 2003 and Connie the Coromal. Many years ago we met Bundy friends out at Lake Eyre for the flight. Our vehicles were parked together and we could not believe what we were seeing. Their number plate was JHO! Ours FLO.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Dave, I wouldn't know I had damaged my ribs. The tyre fitters replaced the tube, tube protector and complete valve assembly, free of charge.supersparky wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 9:14 am I think that George and I wrangled one of those bus wheels onto the spare wheel holder just a while back. Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, its scrambled eggs on toast day at our place. We watched a sea eagle building a nest yesterday. That was a bit special. It looks like a breeding pair are finally going to use the purpose build platform that our council spent far too much money building, about ten years ago. We are meeting an old friend for lunch today, so there won't be much else happening at our place. Enjoy the shops Bernie. I hope that you get the results that you want from the medicos Bob. Everybody else travel safe and have a great day.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
'tanks" here---
The outside temp is 17 c and light fog this morning when checked at 07:00am
Major has had his kibble and has gone back to sleep.
I am playing with my laptop while I eat my oats and wondering what I will do for the rest of the day.
Bin day today so that will keep me busy waiting for the collection truck.
I have a doctor appointment friday for a check up. Part of the deal for early discharge from the hospital is a 3 day check-up visit to his rooms. Time to take some morte pills.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
Keith , our local IGA has the classic drumstick on sale for $18 for a 24 box. Can you still get to the shops or do you have to rely on assistance?
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
Morning all,
Had a busy day yesterday afternoon, had morning tea with my friend [Farmer where I'm camped up] I went into town [Port Macquarie] when I returned he was sitting on the verandah having a beer, I brought my washing in and went to join him.
I asked him had he been to town and he said yes, but he still had his pj top on and old jeans as he was when I had left. I went to do something and when I returned 2-3 minutes, he was flat on his back on the floor. I helped him up and he fell again, again, and again. He did not look good and said he was cold so I got him into his bed and put the doona over him, then went out to phone his daughters, both on call back. I went to check on George found him back out on the verandah flat on his back again. About to call an ambulance when one daughter called I told her all she said she would come straight out [was coming anyway as it was his 71st birthday] she and husband arrived he lifted him up [ I could not] she call the ambos, who arrived and took him to Port base Hospital. No idea what is wrong at this stage.
But I'm looking after the farm and feeding the dog [does this make me a farmer? ]
