Somehow I have deactivated my inbuilt webcam for Skype :roll: Should have asked the guy at Office works what he did when he activated it for me- I know he only hit about 2 keys but did not ask which ones. Any suggestions pretty please :?: :?:

To activate deactivate the video camera in Skype:
Click on Tools, Options, General
SkypeVideo.jpg
I have set it to 'no one' - cause I don't like it...

If you have deactivated the video camera altogether, I don;t have an answer.

Done that Erich. Think I will have to go to Officeworks in Bundaberg or here in am before we leave.

Have you looked up the instruction manual for your computer ?

If you don't have one you should be able to find one via google.

What make/model laptop is it?
May have lost it's driver?
Does it show up in device manager? (windows!)

Back online as is Skype.
Fortunately where we are in Bundaberg their IT son was home - he fiddled with my computer & after about 30 mins he found the problem after trying to find the driver-all over my head! Did a download & hey presto working.
