Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Did that once in NZ, got out of it , told one of the officials I would find them guilty if I was accepted for the jury. Too close to home.

A good thick port might give you some flavour Dot, maybe best not to try it, if you already get the wobbles. ;) xxxx

Nothing much happened here today, except the sun shone brightly through the windy day.

"tanks" at the Dyszart Bunker---
We had a quiet session last night and the motorhome owners are getting ready to hit the black stuff later today, (Friday) which will leave Mr. Major and myself all alone and still at home.
I notice that BernieQ is not on the net yet, or perhaps he is up already and driving the Winne around the block instead of going for a walk.

I plan to have another birthday next year.

Brain numbing is a nice way of saying listening to all the BS. xxxx

Here is yesterdays kiln surprise
IMG_1278.JPG
I was expecting it to look like this so was very pleased until I had a proper look.
IMG_1280.JPG
Today I had hammer therapy and eventually, the pieces will have another turn at becoming more useful. I am disappointed because I left the kiln on the top temp for too long, but this is how I learn. Another turn for the glass to become a blob and then do the drop through a hole mold again. So at least 2 more days of hot times for it. Tomorrow I am firing something totally different, just cause I am sick of that piece at the moment.

sweet dreams out there xxx

From the photo, the top one is fantastic.
:o
Love the colours and shape. (I'm not a fan of the droopy top.)

Just needs a second piece to make a scone /cake stand.

Early good evening or late good morning, whichever way you want to take it. We are at Theresa Creek Dam, south west of Clermont, and the signal here is woeful.

We had a great couple of days getting to know Keith (aka Tanks) and Major and catching up with Bernie and Carol again. We hope to revisit Keith again before too long. A real gentleman!

Heading to Fairbairn Dam on Monday. Managed to get a booking at Sandstone Park, just out of Carnarvon Gorge, for 3 nights from the 16th, so have to fill in the time somewhere.

Enjoying being on the road.
Cheers
Lesley
