Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---
Hi there Dot,
Major's ears are good for another 6 months after his overnight visit to nthe Vet at Moranbah.
He was happy to see me again and be back in familiar surrounds.
I have a bit of a discomfort with myu lower back--nothing out of the ordinary except it is difficult to stand up and walk untgil I get mobile thyen it's ok. My visit to my G.P. rfesulted in some more Endone and other pain meds, plus some antibiotiocs for the breathing department.
I thought I had posted this info, but who knows where the postoing went. Congrats on the new vewhicle. Will it get to Dysart when the gate is open.
Keith.

Hi Tanks,
By the look of your typing, I’d say you might be hitting the painkillers a bit hard. 😀
Never mind, we can work out what you’re saying.
Good to hear that Major is happily back home.
We’re looking forward to the day we are allowed to visit Queensland again.
At the moment, we are allowed to visit NSW, but only within 50km of the border. :(
South Australia is still a definite no-no.
Ah, well, I guess it’s just a matter of time.
Look after yourself... and Major.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Deborah I love that floppy vase you have smashed  Jd has no taste
Yes you are correct Lesley, our Tanks is one genuine gentleman, pity there aren't many like him around these days. :(
Ray I reckon you are just jealous of Tanks's new scripts
Tanks nice to know Mr Major is feeling better, You never know when these borders will be opened.
Today was a beautiful sunny and warm day, we had Robert not Bob and Molly drop in for morning tea, he requested scones so he got scones  he also left with his fruit tree bits of wood for his food smoking experiments.
Boys on bikes are starting and it is sure to be a good race today as first day in the high mountains, come on Richie Porte from Tassie. Managed some gardening but man it buggered me out so I,m going to hit the sack to watch the boys because I reckon I will drop off to sleep. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Lesley & Erich xx :D :D

Dot,, thanks for that. The colours will still be the same when the bits get turned into a blob again only a matter of time and we will see what it looks like then. xxxx

Jon both photos are the same vase, just from different angles. The top was fairly flat, but the big slash/hole in the body of it was not a good sight. Next time will be third time lucky. Perseverance is the only way to get the glass to obey my commands.

Today I wanted a break from the vases and suspect that we will be home for Christmas. The first time in 15 years. Anyway, I cut glass and shaped it to form a wreath for the front door. Hopefully will get fired tomorrow.

The same???

See Dot, we both love the same things. We just look at them from different perspectives. Take George for example.
I love his workmanship. I figure you do too!!! ;)

"tanks" here---Leslie,
The Dam area appears to be quiet.
You can be so lucky, Emerald have a Subway shop.
I have to qualify for a CT Scan or an MRI before I can get there. and enjoy a Subway.
Good night to you and Erich.
Keith.

Looks peaceful Lesley, Tanks wants a subway sent via uber eats   What another ripper of a day it has been. Warm, sunny, washing out and in now put away (no ironing) . Our suzuki went to her new home today :( felt like I was kicking her out.. Off to town tomorrow to have my check up of the last op, not sure if it will improve any more but shall see what he says. G has just about finished the heater installation in the bus.
J-d you are correct.
Deborah keep those glass sculptures going.
The fruit trees are starting to blossom (like me) but may not have such a big crop this year as the man gave them a very hard prune this year. Boys o bikes are in the pyrenes
and some parts the mist is impossible to see through, rest day for them tomorrow.
Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Toolman x

Enjoy the city traffic Dot and hopefully you will hear the good answers. xxxx

Christmas wreath was given the warm oven treatment today (only got to 730 degrees C to keep some of the textures). Anyway, so far so good. Yes Dot, I will keep up with the vases, just taking a mental break from them. Once the blue scraps get turned into a blob, I reckon they will come up even better. Then the vase shape can be attempted again. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The good thing with this hobby is that usually there is no waste and every tiny shard can be re-used.
I "forgot" to tell his nibs that I found some more dichroic (sparkly) glass on sale in USA, well I had to have it. ;) ;)  He will know when it arrives, cause he is the one who goes to the post shop to collect all of our parcels.

nighty night xxx
Deborah

Driving in the city is a dream to get around Deborah, Saw the specialist today to check the last slash and stitch job done a couple of mths ago. He was reasonably happy with his handy work but says it may take a couple more mths to settle down more. I have some exercises to do till I see him again, I have to blow up balloons and use straws for drinking. might get a helium cylinder to do the balloons    No BOB tonight it's a rest day for them.
George I hope Julie is much better today, so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight George & Julie xx :D :D
