Another great day and more weed spraying done and some more tomorrow. Nothing terribly exciting today apart from me watching in disbelief at an older female driving the smallest car trying to park in a normal parking space, after 2 goes she backs out onto the road does a U'e and parks on the side of the road. A few seconds later a big toyota 4x4 drove straight into the same parking spot that the little old lady couldn't manage. Some people just don't know when to hand their license in, dam dangerous. On the other side of the coin,
In Melbourne I came back to our car — legally parked in a Disabled Only spot with yellow bands on the road to allow wider access between mine and the next Disabled permit car space — only to find some f^%#wit driving a ragtop 100 Series Land Rover (without a disabled permit) had parked between our two cars on the yellow stripes so neither of us could access the doors!
We both had to wait for the driver to return. He dumped his shopping in the back then climbed over it to get to the driver’s seat! Didn’t dare make eye contact with two fuming drivers leaning on our cars.
Only when he drove off did he discover he had a parking ticket... and three suddenly flat tyres. Two rears & spare.
Fortunately he failed to notice the Swiss Army knife I carry on my belt before both of us (legally parked) drivers left.
Otherwise he may have been prompted to report me for carrying an offensive weapon.

It is so good to escape Dot, and yes we are enjoying it. Enjoy your gardening, it is so good to look back and know how much you have achieved. xxxx

We did some touristy stuff today and watched some tankers coming and going. Each of these monster ships had a minimum of 4 tugs boats pushing them in or out of port. Definitely a different kind of exciting to watching the yachts around our bay. The weather is still freezing and windy, but finally being with other people is so good.

Big ship watching is becoming addictive. They are ginormous and so noisy. Have really enjoyed being away from home and had great happy hours today. So it's been great and not going home until Monday, So a sleep in tomorrow...maybe.

Missed last night as fell asleep in chair. Has anyone ever had a cold sore on the inside of your top lip? Not the usual cluster looking cold sore but I have 3 bubble things not joined and are they sore. Plenty of mouth rinsing with salt and bi carb Boo hoo. Nothing remarkable happened today just patted my pussy most of the day Boys on bikes in the mountains tonight before rest day on Monday, should be a tough one tonight. Filled the bus with fresh water and G has checked all the necessary things so we can head away for a few days R&R. Boys are on and so I say Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Macca x

Sign at the end of big wharf says it's dangerous for people to walk on. Big waves may cause people to be washed off...only in high tides and huge winds. The other sign gave us a smile
