No dramas with quack, but it took a fair chunk out of our day. Because we have to pass woolies to come home from the quacks, we did a big grocery shop. Peed off that they didn't have any of the usual trolley sanitiser cloths available, so used a clean tissue with some of their hand sanitiser to do the job. Just not good enough and will be letting management know how I am feeling. I wish it was easier to get to the smaller foodlands shop that we used during the worst of the lockdowns. It is a good 15 minutes extra driving to get to, but obviously it is worth the drive.

The smashed up glass will have another heating tomorrow, to get back to being a big blob.

Man are these BOB fit ? 24% gradient yesterday and some more again tonight down to 9kph wow. Took Brian to the usual yearly blood tests today, I was peeved at being charged $30 for a script for Brians meds, told it was the rules of the Greencross people. I said well when you go to your GP and get a script you don't get slugged for a script! then another $28 for them to check the ear swab for any mites etc, both of those things we have never been charged for before?? Got home and thought "no bugger it, I'm ringing the head office" The lady had all my records and noted what I was complaining about and will pass it on to the area manager. No wonder some people hesitate at taking their pets to the vet. GREED at its best I say. Dot, if there is a human product the same as your vet uses, can you get a script from your quacky friend? Just a thought. The mountains are beautiful around the lycra lads on the few snippets that i have seen. xxxx

Fired up the kiln so now have a blue blob and a red blob to re-create into vases. Probably wont happen tomorrow. I have eye check up etc.Seem ti be treading water while I catch up on the jobs that are being re-made.

Deborah I used to get one of my dogs heart pills that way (full price) the vets charged 75cents pr pill, script full cost $4.50 x 200 pills. I checked at the chemist warehouse and Brian's tabs $40 thats a $60 saving. Greed is even at the expense of sick animals .BOB are going well, Richie had a puncture on the gravel bit last night with 30ks to go he was 90 seconds behind but managed to get back into the mob. Hoping nothing happens tonight because he is a good time rider. My boysenberry cane is still doing well and a bit of rain helped. Down to the 33ks mark so I shall say goodnight everyone x Goodnight Robert not Bob x

Watching the BOB do their time trials, hoping Richie has no problems. Also watched the V8's at Talem Bend, twas peeing down there and 3 drops here Mouth ulcers have gone. Tomorrow we start a week of doggie sitting (Rosy) and Brian is sharpening his claws just in case Rosy has forgotten who is in charge Off for a shower then finish watching the boys from a nice warm bed.. Oh yeah, G sent an email asking for understandable instructions for the temperature control (on the diesel heater) hr got an answer that also made no sense so another email sent.

We have sold a lot of products, and there is no such problem. I applied to the manager again. Can you make some modifications at the local repair shop? We will give you a partial refund as compensation, what do you think?

I asked for help re programming the operating instructions for the diesel heater but received just a ref back to the product itself. There was no attachment or understandable instructions. Please may I have a clear explanation. Regards

Yes, Dot, keep asking the same question but using slightly different wording every time you send the reply. Eventually, they might ask someone to translate your emails for them. If not, they are just the usual shonky Chinese suppliers. Don't know their products, just shove them off to the idiot Aussies. I reckon they have collections of our emails in their joke sections too. xxxx

I visited here last night, only to have the interweb close down. So I went to bed instead.
Not much happening around here. The same lump of blue glass had another adventure in the kiln and it broke again. So now I suspect it is too thick and possibly has air pockets in it. Once it's cool enough to handle I will know more.

Off to get some ugly sleep

Had a family visit for the first time since March. As they are from Western Sydney, we had to be very cautious, so no cuddles or hugs. But it was still a lovely time with son,dil and kids.
