Re: Truth in labelling
To be fair to honey beer, I have tasted a lot of honey brewed beers from a few different craft breweries. And in my working life have had the misfortune to have been covered in sh#t. There isn't much difference. Bernie is right.
Cheers

Boy!
This post certainly lit up the board...
I was only away from the forum for 24 hrs, and look at the responses.
In answer to the question about my response, it was not a bad drop. A light stout taste.
Unfortunately I bought it in WA as part of a novelty six-pack. I don’t have a second bottle. Drank three almost immediately. This was one of the other three.
I’ve already finished the “Old Fart”. Only the “Old Legover” left now.

Re: Truth in labelling
Geoff Clifton brews a very good Honey stout, real nice on the palette and loosens the shoelaces on the second pint to the stage walking is a task not to be taken lightly ...... Black as Coopers stout but twice as heavy, both in weight per bottle and texture ... a fine drop that I wouldn't say no to a pallet full
