You must have had the audio off Ray, otherwise I am sure you would have remarked on the idiots screaming out "I would die for that man"

Now, what did that cost American taxpayers?
A convoy of five armoured limos, squads of heavily-armed Secret Service members, doctors on exclusive standby, helicopter surveillance, traffic control (complete with local coppers on point duty)... etc, etc.![]()
And how many staff did he put at risk of contracting Covid-19?
I note everyone in the Presidential Limo wore masks, (even The Clown himself!) but our local medicos say that, while it offers greatly improved protection, a mask does not offer 100% safety.
All so President Clown could wave through the window to a bunch of about 20~30 ratbags. None of whom were socially distancing or wearing masks...
Must be election year, or something...![]()

Nothing extra, all these people are paid to do exactly what they were doing whether Donald was doing a publicity stunt or not .... but was it really Donald? There are so many Donald impersonators in the USA that do a really convincing job of it, add the mask to blur the lines a bit and it isn't a serious stretch of the imagination, nor is it the whole thing being one big publicity stunt.
As far as Republicans being rusted on voters, we have similar nonsense over here so that isn't a stretch of the imagination in the slightest. What is a worry is the extent they are willing to go and the fact there are no gun laws as such, it will turn into a free for all without much provocation one was or the other. Add the Black Lives Matter and anti Police attitude created by the Police themselves to a large degree ..... Covid 19 might not be the biggest killer in the USA after all ....... Both Putin and Xi Jinping must be laughing up their sleeves while "Little Rocketman" won't both hiding his delight in the whole mess the USA has tumbled into ..... quite understandable why Putin influenced the election in favour of Donald, why battle from the outside when you can get the people to do it to themselves

Yes, audio was off.
And it’s the number in your last sentence which frightens me.

Re: Pardon my Schadenfreude
NEWS24 rebroadcast President Clown’s little trip around the block tonight. (I left the audio on this time.)
Local coppers every 6ft both sides of the road as he passed, watching the crowd.
I suspect they were not there before his jaunt. Extra duties? Extra wages?
He’s also being treated with Dexmethasone... reserved for serious cases. Overkill? Or is there something the Yanks are not telling us?
Another thing: I was in hospital lots over the past 25 years.
I don’t remember any ward I was in which looked like his. Not even the long-term care ward for bone marrow transplant patients, which was furnished to engender a ‘home-like’ atmosphere. Some of us spent up to 12 months in there.
I wonder what the ‘upgrade’ cost?
BTW, T1,
I agree with all you wrote from the ‘rusted on’ voters down.

Re: Pardon my Schadenfreude
There is a growing conspiracy theory going round which claims Trump hasn't got the virus and his going to hospital was a ploy to gain sympathy and get him out of the coming debates. Only time will tell us what the truth is, I wouldn't put anything past him or any other deranged ideologue, especially when he is now claiming god sent down a miracle to cure him.
