Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.

Re: Today's sport
Well done to the Holdens. Good one SVG.
I wonder what next year will bring?
Bob will be happy the blue oval guys won the championship.
2020, memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Bathurst on the day is what counts, Can't say anything negative for Gizzies performance especially today.jon_d wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:42 pmAll true, but Ford didn't win Bathurst. That's what matters.Sorry Dot FORD won the drivers championship and got second place

Re: Today's sport
When Bathurst was a race on it's own with 50 to 60 production car's
Like it started as it was an exceptional race.
When v8 stupid car's took in over they stuffed it up.

Re: Today's sport
I reckon that you are spot on, Bob. Back in the day it was good to see all the brands having a go. But they can't bring back production car racing any more, cos we don't produce any, we stuffed that up too. I wonder what next years big race will look like?
Cheers

Re: Today's sport
Great to watch y'day, Bathurst is a great circuit but just didn't seem the same without the usual spectators, always been a
Ford supporter myself, the concept of the race certainly has changed over the years, agree David next year should be interesting.
I did drive the circuit about 23 yrs ago in my manual Range Rover a couple of times, enjoyed that experience.

Re: Today's sport
Exactly the same as this year.
New rules/regulations don't come into effect until 2022.
