I am currently in Perth parked up at Rod and Kerry's camp site in Oakford. Rod asked me if anything had changed with regard to his listing in the GeoWiki as last year they were receiving daily phone calls but this year they have barely received any. The only thing that I can think of is the #MCA forum closure and members might not realise that the GeoWiki was not effected by the forum closure.
Do you still use it?

No, just word of mouth.

I gave the whole lot the flick too.

Shame really because some experts stuffed it up.

Some in control were doing their best to keep it up to date but it would have been like bashing your head against a wall.

Re: how many still use GeoWiki?
I gave up on geowiki when they release the camp sites in the Wanderer's mate and gave it to the KEA campers.
The only thing that kept me in **** was the forum as I found the insurance for an old bus was useless as they were not interest twice when I needed help and I hate large groups so I would never go to a rally and even the chapter scene was not me.
I have been harassed a few times whilst in a camp site where a chapter group were visiting.
I was also harassed by some rally Volunteers as ALL **** members should go to the rally's. The same people were illegally parked and would not move as they would not be near a group of lowly caravan owners.
Good for those that like it I suppose but just not for me and that's why I refused to be part of their new forum, besides most of the DH's that kept having a go at Terry and me about the battery experiment frequent that forum. They now would give anything for the information that they could have had for free

Re: how many still use GeoWiki?
Geowiki is operational and working as well as it ever has
I use it every day
2 nights in a free camp rather than in CPs will save me more than the club membership to use Geowiki.
There have been some improvements to clear up some issues and we are working hard on some vital maintenance before "moving forward" to make it more "User Friendly" as soon as we can.
We now have a Geowiki Support email address (see below) and will have a help desk at the Maryborough Rally to assist members as much as we can.
Please ask any questions you want about Geowiki on the Geowiki Support email address
