You would be shocked (bad pun, I know) how often these type of terminal links are found in RV's from many different manufactures. The even more scary practice is soldering a fist full of wires into one lump, slipping a piece of heat shrink over it and a single cable coming out to the supply point ...... I have cut these out of a number of RV's we have had to correct crap wiring and given them to the owners for their next "Show and Tell" at the campfire chats. This practice, believe it or not, is a factory thing, not a back yard bodgie job but a factory installed piece of butchery ..... The one we pulled out of a sealed box section behind the electrical board that didn't even include the heat shrink took the price though ..... especially because they are deemed to be a specialist RV builder that only make a select number of builds each yr claiming it is to maintain a higher quality  The name of the manufacturer is withheld to maintain the resale value for anyone who bought one of these units, they don't deserve to be punished
