President Clown’s Unbeatable Logic

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

After spending the last 20 years or so working in and around a sewerage network I reckon that I could probably drink the drain with no effect.
I only use the glass to gauge how much I have drunk. When I get to 3 it's time to stop posting on forums.
That has taken a few years to work out though. I have been known to post some dribble over the years.
Cheers

It seems the older we get, the smaller the glass that 3 glasses is the time to think twice about saying something we might regret later.
Thought for the day, is it we get slower process the same amount of alcohol we did when we were younger?
or
Have we become wiser over the yrs and better at judging when we should stop talking?

If it's the latter, I might still have a few yrs of "getting wiser" to go

Dunno about you T1, but there is no way I can drink anything like what I used to be able to, day in day out.
My kidneys and liver let me know when it is time to stop. If only they could do that an hour or so earlier.
Cheers

Yeah, I discover when I could no longer handle the larger volumes after an appearance on TV with Dottie in my arms  A real wake up call that one, now I have to try and get Dottie in my arms when stone cold sober

Age and eyes, I was doing my usual before bed routine of cleaning fangs, spraying the moisturizing stuff on the arm tongue, etc I soon realized what I had done, Yep sprayed my arm tongue with the glasses cleaner. Note to ones self, keep your glasses on..  I see the clown has admitted he lost the election but will not concede defeat :?: :?:

Didn’t one of our short-term Leaders of the Liberal Party make a similar statement after Labor won an election?
“We didn’t win, but then, we didn’t lose either.”
Some South Australian bloke, as I (unreliably) recall.

(I assume he meant that he came second. )

How democratic is that?
How come it's OK for unions to throw millions into the fighting fund but not big business to do the same?
If the Liberals didn't get the Nationals vote and a few of the other party votes, we would only ever have the labor party in power ..... be careful what you wish for ;)

I agree with the massive funds that go to various parties to buy favours is wrong, but how do we fix it? All political donations go into a single fund, each party gets the same amount out of the fund whether they are as big as the Labor Party or combined Liberal/national party, each one gets the same funds, fishers and shooters, motor enthusiast's party, marijuana party, one nation, who ever, but all the receipts must go back to the fund to be reimbursed and only up until their amount is used up, then that is it, no more paid political advertising for that party.
That would stop the party holding govt from spending tax payer $$ to promote themselves, that would have to come out of their share of the fund pool ....... No more favours bought by any outside influence because no one can claim the $$ they put in went to any specific party .... that would reduce political donations by a massive amount and stop the flood of crap we receive between elections and in the lead up to each election .... it would put a lot of lobbyists out of business as well .....

Totally agree Terry.
In my opinion, the nest step should be to make "How To Vote" cards handed out at election only state their preferred #1 vote. ie. Just the candidates details. Do you want a coalition government? Vote for this guy. But no mention of further preferences.
Then, make only the voters first two preferences required for a valid vote. If you wish to fill in further preferences then you may. But only your 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferences are actually required. Maybe even only your 1st and 2nd preference required.
