Just had my post deleted on CF for the first time. No explanation etc. not at all controversial, responding to someone who said check for Cockies in the gas valve...to which Erich replied "Cockies, isn't that a bird?" Now trying to justify it as off topic. I thought Hitler was dead!

I'm normally non-controversial but this has really p*ss*d me off. Someone replied to Erich's request for assistance with a gas bottle problem to the effect that we should check for a dead cockie in the gas valve. Erich's response to me was "Cockie? isn't that a bird?" (English is not his native language) and I posted same in so many words, saying there are no Cockies of either variety (cockroach or cockatoo) in Switzerland. Suddenly the original reference to Cockies and my reply were deleted. No explanation. No reply to my protest but a reply to Erich's protest saying some unrelated posts were removed in the interest of keeping on topic and moving along. What a crock! Hitler lives!

Did you ever get to the bottom of the PM business? I'm still stirring the pot over there because there is no response to validate the decision. I could not care less if I am banned permanently or otherwise. I had a life before CF and I will continue to have one. Having said that, it has been a vehicle to meet some wonderful people (you and George included) but I won't support such blatant censorship. I've supported the Admins in their stance against the N&S policy because I don't believe they should personally be responsible for the rants of others but I won't be a part of this kind of random censorship.

I have asked all the people I told where I was and all but one has replied with (Not me) so if that is the case then I have to assume it was the one that neither confirmed or denied .. Sad because I liked the people concerned. Oh well never mind...

Now you know why many of us are here, there and mostly anywhere but there! I only occassionally visit there now, hubby uses my login to have a peep sometimes, but really the crap artists in the censorship room are just too full of themselves now for me to bother..had one warning too many for insubtantial things. Just be happy here with friends and family and let the other place rot in hell.
