Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Ok a double quick questions. Who is the woman who crossed Australia through desserts with 4 camels and a dog, then wrote a book called ?. Who was left for dead after being abducted on the Buntine Highway in 2006, he was finally rescued after 3 mths after walking 10 days and living beside a dam on a remote NT cattle property.

Apology accepted.
I, too, remember the story. I think it was the first story to be illustrated on CD when they were new technology. Had a copy. Ditched it when USB thumb drives became The Thing. (New laptop was also sans CD slot. )
Name escapes me... Sarah someone?

Ray, it was at Yarrawonga park in Bonnells Bay, he was a 58 yr., old man swimming, attacked his arm below the elbow.
Folklore saying first attack for decades, last one at Rathmines in 1969, certainly been a lot more sighting reported in the lake over the last couple of years, guess the professional fishermen use to catch many of them when they were still operating.
