Re: Good morning daily
Good afternoon folk, a sunny 27 at present, not much activity on the lake today maybe the shark attack y'day has made people cautious.
We are going kayaking later this arvo.
Enjoy the tag a long Peter, I personally can't understand people paying the huge amounts to join CMCA tag a longs, $2,600 for a couple this latest one, someone is making money out of them, in the early days members would just advertise online to join a group no payment involved, the way it should be.

Re: Good morning daily
Shirley,
There is no charge for any Solos Tagalong, CMCA charge for Safari's conducted by an outside organisation.
Ours is to enjoy the company and happy hours and help any new comers to see some of the state. Note some days are only 17-25Km. Nothing to do with CMCA other that we are a SIG, we have to cover own insurance.
At the end we do have our CMCA sanctioned Rally covered by their insurance.

Re: Good morning daily
Peter, do we really need an outside organisation doing Safari for a MH & Caravan club? Really think these could be organised by members we all have our own insurance, tag a long at your own risk, just my opinion. I know chapters don't charge their members.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning Dot and others picked up some bug and operating full time both ends.
Yesterday was up to 42c + aircon on from the morning as it was 33c at 7pm. Solar into the grid was 0.1 Klw. Today expected in low 30c.
Take care and stay cool, cheers Robert
