Our two 20yo cars have been re-gassed once and they do a leak test with coloured dye during the process. Always run the aircon occasionally whether it needs it or not.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its a beautiful morning here on the sunny GC. We came home the long way yesterday. We hadn't been that way before, it is a much better way to go and easier driving. The rain gauge was empty when we got home but the grass had kept growing.
Have a great day everybody, safe travels.

A good day trip was to take the "Australind" train from Perth station down to Bunbury, have a picnic, and then return to Perth station.

Re: Good morning daily
Not a happy camper this arvo. The man came to service the Winny airco. No pressure in the system and won't hold a vacuum. Did the leak test/ pressure test and all things point to a failed seal on the compressor. Apparently not a serviceable item. The man gave me an open ended quote for between $800 and 2 grand. Depends on where it has to come from, OEM or aftermarket. Of course access is almost impossible due to the cab not be able to tilt. Not looking forward to tomorrow.
Cheers

Morning everyone...how much does Paul charge Helen
George all our vehicles have the aircon's on all the time if the car engine is running so is the aircon.
Bugga David . on ours its on the bottom of the engine on the "winny", just remove the undercover and its just there.
I had a log I cut up last year sitting in the way so I started the log splitter..log all stacked now.
Temps have been down a bit bloody wind is drying the garden...going to rain one day.....

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, another beautiful day ahead. Looks like i missed a nice sunrise, finally had a good nights sleep. That wind has been doing a great job drying out everything. I had to fill the bird bath twice yesty. I hope that you get some rain up your way soon Bernie and Bob. We are putting in some tap timers and irrigation to keep a few things alive when we get away next time. Happy hump day everybody. Enjoy your train ride Helen. Safe travels.
Cheers

Goodness what a dreadful senior's moment!!!!! Have been thinking, all day, that to-day is Thursday. Just as well my driving medical was last week. If Thursday we should have been up at neighbours for lunch.
