Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hmmm....... Fitted up the inverter yesterday .... nothing happening. Traced back to the rocker switch Brian mounted near the floor so easy to switch using those feet of his ....... worked on the bench but nothing when plugged back in .... tried another switch, same problem .... hmmm...... Checked from the battery onwards through the system, different voltage at the battery to the system, only a volt or so but why? Turned the inverter on again, still the same voltage at the battery but now zero system voltage ..... check the 175 amp Anderson plugs .... sure enough, one retaining spring clip snapped off and the positive lead just held in place by the heat shrink over the 2 cables. replace the plug and all works wonderful ....... That now leaves the question, was the inverter problem actually a failed Anderson plug? Surely I tested all that stuff before I pulled the inverter out .... if I could just remember if I did check everything or not ........

Morning everyone.
Who was the Numbskull said to mow the lawn....what a drama
fist flat battery so on charge it goes grrr, now engine is started, then every time I tried to engage the blades the engine would stall grrr . so after fartaseing around I found one of those safety switch's was playing up grrr. so I then with the help of some gaffa tap and zip tie I was on my way again....NO... bloody lever that holds the front of the cutting deck decided to part company grrr. bloody split pin was the culprit  Eventually I did get the lawn mowed. It was like doing a "Terry"
So that was my day.
Bit warmer this morning Bob.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, it's a pleasant 3 deg here on the lake at Mulwala. We are moving down towards Geelong today. Will have to wait and see where we finish up.
Safe travels everybody. And get well soon all those on the sick list.
Glad you got the mowing done Bernie, when will you start coming south?
Cheers

Time to rip all those "safety features" out Bernie!!
We used to own one that had a switch under the seat & if you jumped off to shift a hose or something the engine would switch off.
Happy traveling tomorrow!! Stay safe.
