Lock down

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Agree, Busman,
It’s a total c*ck-up!
All because ScoMo put the rights of one Indian-Australian ahead of the rights of the rest of the people of Australia.

What a mess you Victorians make of our lives..................
Busman, go and get nicked.

For the last 80 odd days Victoria has had an average of one case per day. Virtually all are O/S returns. A person from SA entered Vic 4 days ago and now we are in lockdown. The strain is the Indian strain which has a 1-2 day incubation period.

If we didn't go into lock down you and all of us would be screwed.

If you want to blame anyone for this latest outbreak, then blame the little Irish twerp that is running Qantas. If it wasn't for the pressure being put on govt across the country to get airlines flying again and taking people to the countries that have high infection rates then none of this s##t would have happened.

William, I hope the sale goes through with no dramas. If the buyers are already camped in Queensland, they are not going to have to leave the state and money transfers all over the country through internet stuff. Hope it all goes smoothly for you both. xxx

This lockdown thing is a worry for the whole country, but it should keep us all a bit safer. So thank you Victorians for your sufferance.

The only way to cope with this and the next few viruses, is to have dedicated quarantine sites out of cities, then there would be no problems. Having quarantine in cities is insane, it will never improve because people are stupid and extremely self centred in this day and age, so they do what they want and not what's best for everyone.

It's well over a year, the cost to people have been huge and way more than building quarantine facilities and they are saying they will, but it will take 2-3 years. Something's deeply wrong in the world when short term profit for a few, over rides long term safety for the majority.
