Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We're all hoping for good news for you Dot. xxxx

Robert hope all goes well for you too mate xxx

Van is packed. Shirley can attest to the freezing conditions. So much cloud cover and rain, there are no reflections left on the lake. We finished packing the van, just as the first really heavy downpour hit. We headed up to get thawed out near the big gas heater. That was nice. Then went to cook a fast dinner in the microwave. Well it's best to say that after the first bit of warmth, the microwave died a very unassuming death, just fizzled out. If the rain had been a little less fierce, we would have used the microwave in the van, but no. Our instant meal became a slow cooked one in the normal oven. After a late dinner, we are all ready to party with the jayco mob.

sweet dreams out there xxx

Agree with Deborah, played bowls y'day, was freezing glad that I wore fleece track pants, Tuesday is mufti day unless we are playing in a club competition event.
Enjoy your getaway Deborah, where are you going to this time?

Best Wishes to Dot & Robert for your hospital visits, hoping for good results.

"tanks" here---the latest report from the BUNKER.

Attempted murder charge, Dysart
myPolice on Jun 9, 2021 @ 12:31am
A 51-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked another man with a machete in Dysart.

Moranbah detectives will allege the incident happened just after 4am yesterday (June 8) at a Singleton Street address, which resulted in a 52-year-old man sustaining cuts to his head, face and chest.

The man was taken to Mackay Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A crime scene was declared.

The 51-year-old Dysart man was arrested at the corner of Golden Mile and Silver K roads late yesterday afternoon and taken to the Mackay Watchhouse.

He has since been charged with one count each of attempted murder and evasion offence, along with four counts of wilful damage.

The man is expected to appear before the Moranbah Magistrates Court today (June 9).

The men are understood to be known to each other.

Investigations are continuing.

the G-4 Tower has been out for the past 5 days plus, and only G-3 is working at about 1/10th speed.

Telstra must be doing a major upgrade everywhere. Quite a few places we have been in SA and NSW seem to be getting an upgrade. At least that's what the texts from Telstra have been saying. What's the weather like in Dysart Keith? It's pretty ordinary in Gilgandra tonight.
Cheers

never a dull minute in downtown Dysart. Most likely fighting over drugs , women or both. Dam cold here, the bricky hasn't been doing any bricking for the past few days either. G having his hernia op checked up on tomorrow and I just might go for a drive if the weather is ok. Q/ Does the law still allow "family trusts"? Friend of ours had to hand over his super so his wife could go into nursing home plus extra $ as his super didn't cover the full amount, Then he had to go into the nursing home and his house had to be sold to pay the nursing home which meant his son and grand kids got barely enough to buy a macca's. It is so wrong, the crims get treated better than our oldies. End of todays rant :) So time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie Q x :D

Yes Dot, getting old sux. Nursing home costs are really a ransom and now look what they are trying to do to medicare. No more hip or knee ops on the government purse. Looks like now we can't afford to get old. xxxx

Had a lovely drive to Tuncurry and it's even more cold than home. Mt Sugarloaf is in this council region and it has predictions of snow for this weekend. We started up our tiny oil filled heater to warm the van, but it was struggling. So we added a little fan heater as well and finally the van is warm. Only a few of our jayco mates are here yet, but the few of us had a lovely catch up and then all of us went to our vans to thaw out. Hope it improves hugely for the weekend.

nighty night xxx
