Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, it's 6deg here in Cobar right now. The wind and rain has gone off to the NE. We were planning on spending time in the heritage and mining museum today, but that looks like it is closed for renovations. There seems to be a bit of building going on in town, so that is always a good sign. Safe travels everybody, have a great day.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
"tanka" here---
I am a bit short on the detais and only going on the local gossip which started as an axe murder in Dysart.
This then became an attack with a machetti, the bloke being hit 12 times on the head and shoulders.
One of the hospital workers told the meals-on-wheels driver that the Doc was there and flat out from 05:00 am, and there was blood everywhere when they bought the bloke into the hospital.
The "crime scene" in the street was 2 doors down from the Bunker and you can imagine what it was like with around 8 to 10 police cars and around 15 police persons (male and female) on patrol taking photos of this and that, and another lot taking measurements of anything that moved, plus a TRG element- - - -wow; it all beats wheelie bin day !!!
The RFDS plane came in at 6:30 pm and did the evacuation to Mackay Base Hospital. The evening TV news was that a man was flown to the Mackay Hospital, having been severely injured in an axe attack.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning, 8c cloudy & we've already had a sprinkle of rain, so I just cancelled playing bowls, don't want to get a cold, I will go & watch the final of the triples if they play.
Think I need to buy some thermal underwear, don't like this cold weather.
