Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---David,
I just had a quick look and the outside temp is 10 c at 07:30am.
No clouds, and the sun is trying to get the "Dysart Bunker" heated up for today while I wait for the Wheelie Bin truck to do its thing.
Mr Major is curled up asleep.

Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Tanks, hope your day warmed up a bit more.

Today, at Tuncurry, the top temp was 11 freezing degrees and it felt closer to zero. Thankfully, the van is quite warm now, so have thawed out. Had take out dinner from the caravan park cafe. Chicken and cashews for me a he had creamy chicken pasta. Not a bad meal and I didn't have to do much to heat it up in the microwave.

On our op shop run, I bought a few stainless steel pieces to use as molds in the new kiln. They should make some very nice sandwich trays and small platters. So it was a good day really.

goodnight one and all xxx

11degs? I thought it was cold here at 16. I stayed home again today when G went for his follow up appointment and his surgeon was very pleased so nearly back to normal. :D Brickie was doing his job in the cold but guess that is his job. I had an attempt at sucking a piece of toast with heaps of peanut butter and after about 40 minutes it finally was gone but how joyful it tasted = 0. Keep warm everyone and goodnight everyone x :D goodnight Deborah x :D

Dot, how good it would be to taste food and enjoy it, you are making me realise just how lucky some of us are xxxx

I still have very limited sense of smell, but food does have some taste. I am counting my blessings here. We went to an oyster place for lunch today and it was really lovely. Had some delicious prawns, garlic and pasta. No need for the oysters, just not in the mood for them, not anything about the actual food. We came back to the park and had a frozen happy hour.

Robert, it was much warmer today, 13 degrees and right now it's 9. The sun shone very weakly, so it didn't feel all bad. We are following the Swedish thinking that there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes.

Added another layer of warmth before we went out for lunch and it was needed. The electric blanket is already on, to warm the bed and I am looking forward to thawing out a bit more.

Dot, hope you're getting lots of rest xxxx
Today was almost warm at a sunny 18 degrees, but as soon as the sun sank, it was back to cold. It's 10 degrees at the moment, but we're very warm n toasty in the van.
We spent most of the day catching up with mates who we haven't seen since the start of covid. So it has been a really lovely day.

sweet dreams out there xxx

Another freezing day so early into bed I go. Watched the tennis last night and glad Jocca beat Raffa as I hate watching the touchy ritual he does every time he serves. The final should be another good game and the young ones are going to bring some good tennis in the coming years. Boys on bikes starting soon so at least there will be something to watch then Bathurst Woo hoo. Wish we could have a get together somewhere warm but with this covid we are doomed so make the most of your get togethers Deborah. Drive safe if out on the roads and a goodnight to you all x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D
