Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deborah I could of sent you one of my colonoscopy panties
Early night for computer stuff because the TDF and also Froome is back but he is not looking to win but is there to support his new team & wishing Richie Porte a accident free race. Plus my bombers are also playing so flip flop with the tv controls. The women's bomber team won so hoping the boys can also win but Melb have been in top form this year. OK so time to say goodnight everyone x Goodnight Noggins x

Dottie,
Anything after the TDF is a language of which I know not.

Bombing people in peacetime is a no-no, according to the UN.
Do they have women bomber pilots these days?
I’m sure I will have a troubled sleep tonight, worrying about people being bombed.
Anyway, g’nite Dottie.
G’nite all.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
We are in lock down for two weeks from 6pm tonight, such is life, certainly appear to be panicking but better to be safe than sorry, this Covid outbreak seems to have multiplied quickly.
First day of the school holidays tomorrow, we now have six boys visiting regularly, 2 young fellows have moved into the rented house next door to our g'sons, all come to get their bikes repaired & tyres inflated, all call Bruce Grandpa
one arvo we had 8 boys in the yard.
Goodnight everyone.

Second attempt, the last one got sent into outer space.
Dot, you have all your entertainment worked out for you. Watch the bums and not the bombs xxxx
Shirley, I thought you lived across the lake where there is no lockdown? I think I have you living somewhere that you don't. Where are you? Sorry if that's a rude question. Curiosity and all that .
Stupidly, we live on the side of the lake that is in lockdown. Our woolies already has no toilet paper and is talking about limiting purchases of tinned goods. These people are so stoopid. Anyway, it's not an issue for us. We live just as close to the other side of the lake, where nobody is in lock down and the shop at Wyee will have all that we need and no restrictions. As for dunny paper, get a life. I still have a couple of packs that we put away after the last lockdown. How hard is it to be prepared? It seemed like we were heading for a lockdown sooner, rather than later.
A friend asked me for a couple of my lightcatcher glass chains. I know I had a couple left from the last stall that we had. Of course they are nowhere to be found. I had fun in my shed, making another couple for her, so now the older set will turn up for sure. No loss, they will sell, eventually.
Looks like I will have another two weeks with using the old kiln. I can hardly call kiln repairs as an essential service. I will still have fun in my shed undeterred. At least I can send an email to the kiln man with some questions and hope to get some answers.

Dottie,
Strap on tonight’s news says opening stage of TDF marred by two major accidents.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
yeah Ray it was a weird start to the race for sure First one was caused by the touch of wheels, and 2nd one was a reject on the side holding a big sign right in front of the riders , they showed Chris Froome having trouble getting up but he was able to get back onto a bike and get over the line, Richie Porte was also in the prang and he was also able to get over the line. So far only one had to retire and still no news on any others or injuries that have been found. Chris Froome has just returned after two years when he had a # leg so I hope he is able to continue. More nutters stocking up with toilet rolls? why??? HTFFBO is over WA doing some cattle wrangling,
Shall leave her to relay that story
Stay safe everyone and now Goodnight everyone x

Keep watching that lycra Dot, and try to keep your heartrate down

Now that makes sense Shirley, I understand your comments better now. Manno is a nice place to live, but it's still remote enough to have issues when we really need stuff. Like the PO who refuse to deliver to our house, because I buy too much on line! Hubby has to collect it from the po every time, just a real pain.
Had a day of realising about this crappy virus and lockdowns. We had left the van in the middle of the yard, expecting to go away soon. Well we are both not saying it aloud, but not feeling too promising about getting out to Queensland this year again. So we did the car/caravan ballet and put the van neatly away in it's spot out of view.
The suncatchers that I fired yesterday, were not done enough. So they are back getting warmed up a lot more, higher temp this time.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Tennis and boys on bikes get the switching of channels. Brian went to the vet this morning for his pre op blood test, he is now NBM apart from water and tomorrow he has his teeth cleaned and his ears will be looked into while he is asleep, he has trouble with his ears due to him having cat flu when he was a very young kitten. Spoke to my friend in NZ today her bro has changed lawyers again 9th so far applying for another appeal, how many times can you stop and start appeal requests? Thats his MO get no win no pay lawyers, they get sick of the antics, they dump him and so he gets another sucker lawyer.. The law is BS, the crims know all the stalling tactics, not right for the victims but he will get sorted one way or another. Time to hit the sack and watch the boys for the last 50ks Looking forward to seeing your latest creations Deborah. Hope the man fixed the vans leak. Did you know that one of the bike teams (Bikeexchange) are financed by the Jayco man Mr Ryan. Goodnight everyone x
Keep safe everyone & goodnight Robert not Bob x
Hope you are getting better

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, the van seems to have no more drips, so keeping all fingers and toes crossed. Jerry Ryan is a really nice man, surprising for one so wealthy. He sponsors a lot of bicycle events in Victoria as well as his prized teams (he sponsors quite a lot apparently). He has the bike riding physique too, he does look like he cycles daily. Stay healthy mate xxxx
I fiddled around in shed today. I have a lot of glass that is not compatible with the stuff that I prefer to use and it's taking up space. I decided to use a heap of it to make platters and sandwich trays to get my shed space back. Every time that I use up a sheet, it is saving my more expensive glass and still giving me something else to store in the house. No sales = storing a lot of finished stuff upstairs and hoping for a miracle to get the stuff into other homes.
Just had a couple of very heavy downpours, so will be checking the van with a bright torch tomorrow.
