Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning 9c cloudy, the sun is trying to shine, the westerly wind has subsided for now.

G'son number 4, 8 yrs old rode over a deep culvert last Saturday, fell from his bike, after 8 hrs., at the hospital with suspected broken arm the result was fractured wrist bones, arm in plaster goes back to hospital next Tuesday.
I've been busy knitting g'son number 5 a jumper like Grandpas & the eldest g'son wants a vest knitted for work.

Originally you had to have a built in tank or tote for grey water to stay at CMCA parks, buckets weren't excepted, only a matter of time & the caravan fraternity will take the club over completely, anyone turning up at the gate only have to pay & join the club to stay if there is room & the next 20 year veteran can't stay because "no vacancy" it's a joke & now I read were people can stay a week or two, the parks on the coast you'll have to book years ahead to get a spot, especially ones like Bundy that are so conveniently located.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Policing of ‘self-contained’ definition depends entirely on the Camp Custodian.
One of the CCs at an aforementioned CM€& campsite (I won’t specify which one) allowed people to use a bucket, but had to empty into the dump point.
A convoy of three (non-members) decided that didn’t apply to them, and said CC promptly reported their details to HQ. Further bookings from them will be declined.
Others on previous trips have allowed quiet dogs at Happy Hour.
That rule is strictly observed here at Bundaberg. More flexible on the caravan bucket thing.
As I said, depends on the Custodian on the day.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Ray, rules are rules & should be obeyed especially the folk who have paid the money & installed grey water tanks so as they might stay at the parks, I wouldn't be very happy as a member to arrive with qualifying self contained vehicle & there not be room for me & see caravans with buckets to collect their grey water.👎
The no dogs rule at happy hour is a little different but still a rule.
How long can you stay ?

Cuppla small showers here yesty not much in them.

Foot note I have a tote tank, only used it once at Taggarty when I had a caravan, my Daughter also has one for her Van, yet to be used

Good morning everyone. We had no rain after 9am yesterday. I finished all the pipe repairs in the afternoon.
I don't think I am fit enough to do much digging anymore. Had to have a few rest breaks. I haven't got much planned for today, but I don't write the lists. Have a top day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Good morning all sunshine here at the moment. David know how you feel no more digging for me as well.

Saw my specialist yesterday and asked about the bruising and other things. All is normal and as he expected for a major operation. Hello that would have been nice if I was told before or just after the procedure not two weeks later. Have to wear the brace to bed for 3 months but how do that when you can not handle the pain after 10 minutes due to the excess swelling and bruising.

Good news I can drive so a few things to get but not carry any thing over 1kg in the left. Looks like the right am is getting most of the exercise.

Take care ,drive safely cheers Robert

Good morning all,
First time I have been able to get WiFi on lap top, Ray when I was at Bundy for 14 days I borrowed one of the CC trolleys to empty my gray tank and wheeled it up to the DP.
I was camped at Misty Sands Golf Resort at Balgal beach, with the Cassawarry [sp] Coast Wadderers and a lot of us stayed on as we were going to the DFR. Hooked up ready to go to the rally when Towsville went into lock down, the DFR was cancelled, the owner of Misty Sands said the councel had contacted him to lockdown at 6pm. So scootered out of there [had not been in T'ville except fuel stop on the Hwy] Went non stop to Ingham RV park. It had been cloudy most of the time at MS but now it was raining no POURING, I have a problem with my solar and so my batteries went flat [10volts, 42%] so I left there this morning and now at CP at Innisfail for 3 nights to recharge batteries. Then go to Innisfail CMCA RV Park for 5 nights. then up to Ringers Rest Bush Camp at Mareeba, for about 10 days with the Solo's. Hope Batteries come good need some sunshine. We were to go to Rob Kochs place for a while but he reported 60 mm over night so its under water [nearly].
T1 fixed inverter, seemed some fool forgot to turn one switch on, no names but I travel solo.

The worst time of the yr to have a lot of rain as well interfering with the short solar days. If/when you get down this way, I'll check it out and see if there is something not quite right or if there is some way to extract a bit more from the system. Is the DC to DC still working?
