On the Road Again Yeah.......
Well I was curising along nicely on the understanding that we were leaving in the morning about 9am was going to wait till then so that we don't hid peak hour traffic through the tunnel, so off I went to have one last swim to to say good bye to the girls, took my time , there was no hurry I was almost organised just the last minute shopping for food and a quick flick throught the house and to sneak a few more clothes in the van for THE BOSS as he thinks he can manage on 2 prs of everything forgets about me having to wash every other day
so on arriving home he is at the gate waiting, he announces to me that we are now leaving at 6pm tonight
to avoid some of the traffic and the heat, Bl...dy hell now I really have to pull the finger out. So as from then we are on the road again for about 3 months, yeah..
Cheers Ros.

Ros, we hope you and the Boss enjoy your time away on the road. Your adventure is just starting as ours is just about to finish. We are coming back to the mainland and reality tomorrow after having a great time in Tassie.

You need a chill pill Ros!!
Don't worry about the clothes or food or .........
Just get out there & enjoy it!!!
Look at it this way........ you'll probably need some retail therapy in a couple of weeks anyway!!!
Sit back, shut up & relax!!
Might I suggest a food place for a day or two as well? (Restaurant, takeaway etc)
Honestly it'll take a fortnight to REALLY relax & enjoy it.... both of you!

What!!!!! no one leaves at 6pm. that is when everyone is finishing happy hour
. I don't know about it taking 2 weeks before you start to relax
, I was going to say it'll take you the 3 months
. It's funny how so many people hit the road and do nothing but drive
. Relax, enjoy and keep the rubber side down.

Craig I think 6PM may be OK because they are in Ballarat & it'll probably take them an hour or so to go 'downhill' to Melbourne.
Should be pretty quiet by 7-8 PM I reckon.
Don't cook the brakes going down the Pentlands!!

Re: On the Road Again Yeah.......
What to take has been a bit of a discussion around here, I reckon I can get by with two of everything to. Can't see the need for extra stuff that's probably not going to be needed.
Ros, you little dog will be fine, they adjust very quickly and as long as they are with you that's all that worries them. We have finally got ours to be "good", (well sort of) when we are out, he misses us and suffers with separation anxiety , probably because we have made him such a little sook. He knows when we are going out now by the clothes we put on and the change in routine. He sulks and goes and sits on "his" bed, (which doubles up as a visitors bed). As long as he has a toy or a ball he is happy enough. Worth going out just for the welcome you get when you come home.
Good luck in your travels, take is easy.

Yep your right Craig we are usually off the road about mid afternoon, but think this could be a good move only going as far as Bunyip. It only takes a few minutes to unwind once we hit the road we are on holiday mood,Craig wrote:What!!!!! no one leaves at 6pm. that is when everyone is finishing happy hour![]()

Re: On the Road Again Yeah.......
They should be Ok as it is lovely here in KIlmore. No wind and clear skies
The only problem I had was the BL**DY flies are bad tonight.
Another 3 weeks and I will be back on the road for one day
then camp again for a week or two and then heading west and then north. Not sure how I will handle driving several days in the same week. Might even have to put fuel in the old girl.
Looking forward to going up north but then it will give you buggers three months or more with no me bothering you. No phone or internet so just me and my shadow.
I hope Ros and the boss have a great trip and they will probably be back home before I head south again once I am in my little camp up north.
Regards
Brian
