Hi Dot. We are due for our first jabs next week. Had to wait for a long time to get a booking. Don't know how they will go when the second jab is needed and they are also still doing the first one on people.
Goodnight All Cheers John

Dot, those readings are sounding good and positive. Antivaxers have a lot to answer for. I have niece who works in aged care, who flat out refuses to have the vax, to the point where she is looking for other work. She isn't stupid, just very misguided and none of us have been able to get her to see why the dark web is a place of lunatics pushing their incorrect crapola. Stay safe mate xxxx
I did a grocery shop today, alone, as per the state gov restrictions. I found a whole row of dunny paper and not a lot of the things that were on my list. Many of the things that I finally found, were up so high that I couldn't reach them and nobody is prepared to get in and help. So I gave up. The brat at the checkout stood staring at me while I tried to unload the trolley. Finally he asked for my shopping bags, which he then went ahead and filled . The bags were so heavy that I did some extra damage to my shoulder when I put them back into the trolley. After he had taken my credit card payment, he then handed me back a heap of my empty bags. I lost it when I realised that he had not needed to cram everything into so few bags and I really do wish that I had made him repack the lot. This is one shop that I won't be returning to without my taller husband. Our little grocery shop that I would prefer to use, is off limits at the moment. It's in another council area. Shirley, avoid coles at Northlakes unless you are prepared to fight the throngs.

Thanks for the heads up re Coles, Deborah, I actually like that Coles, they still slice/cut some of their meat on site & they have a good GF section, I've been shopping at LM Woolies or our Foodworks.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Had my second jab at Maryborough Town Hall on 12th. The main hall has been set up as a walk-in clinic, with separate waiting areas for AZ & Pfizer, likewise observation areas where you wait 15 minutes (to check for adverse reactions), and injection booths in the Supper Room at the side of the main hall.
When we visited, there were more staff than waiting patients... in fact, there were NO waiting patients. I was attended to in 5 minutes!
As with my first jab, no reaction apart from a little tenderness at the jab site for 12 hours.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

I remember my parents purchasing a block of land 50 metres from the lake when San Remo was first subdivided. Don't ask me what year.

Our Doctors opened this new centre a few years ago, they already owned Budgewoi Medical Centre, we go to both now, depending where our Dr is attending, the Drs., are an Indian couple, they have had great difficulty finding more Drs., to work in the surgeries, think it would be about 12 yrs since they bought the Budgewoi surgery.

Goodnight folks very heavy rain during the night and expected to continue on.
Had the daughter and her family over for a roast leg of lamb. Great to see the GK’s and a great meal.
Take care every one. Robert

San Remo ? is that spaghetti junction? Thunder lightening wind and rain happening now and my pussy is frightened so the thunder jacket is going on.. Why don't business's reply to your phone messages ??
3 days now waiting for replies from 2 garden people so if / when they do ring they won't get the job.. Boys on bikes are heading up another big hill tonight, those young fellas are unreal.
I think a nice long soak in the bath is in order, I can blow bubbles in peace
Take care everyone and goodnight x
