Morning everyone.
Its bacon and eggs day again , twas bloody cold and windy here yesterday, wind chill factor way below what the gauge was saying.I know cause I was outside doing some gardening.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, had a late start today. I hope everybody enjoys their bacon and eggs this morning. SWMBO is off to junior footy with gkids. I am off to big footy again with first born son. Never been to footy with him before.
Safe travels to all. Have a great day.

Re: Good morning daily
I know I’ve just missed ‘good morning’ time, but I have an excuse: we were away at sparrow’s fart to get as far down the road as possible. Had boiled eggs with toast at a roadside rest area 100km down the road.
Left Wondai at 0700, planning to pull up at Goondiwindi.
We got through Dalby & saw the sign to Lake Broadwater.
Council has just finished putting in some marvellous campsite fittings (Edit: Opened only 3 weeks ago) & lots of drive-through sites! (Edit: 29 sites, 10 with power — but no water or dump point yet.)
So we’re here for the night.
Every site has a made fireplace (BYO wood), and on the lake shore there’s a Happy Hour fireplace with (concrete) seating. Toilets & showers available if needed, and the ranger lady comes around each evening to collect camp fees. ($13.50 unpowered, $18.50 powered, we’re told.)
(Edit: Also has a very spiffy BBQ shelter with 2 hot plates, 2 sinks & 2 picnic tables under shelter!)
Not yet on WikiCamps or Camps Oz.
(Edit: Apparently it has just gone up on WikiCamps this week, but not under a search for “Dalby area”. Has to be named.)
We recommend it if you’re in the area.

Re: Good morning daily
Time everyone just threw out their anchors & stayed put for the sake of protecting the rest of us!
Covid now in Mildura.
This 'go like hell to get there" is a recipe for disaster.
Over a month ago I registered for the jab & I still have to wait 8 more weeks.
Seems it's ok for NSW, Qld & Victoria to have ample supplies but not SA.
So what happens if visitors flood our state?

1. We have to get home. Various reasons, but we didn’t pack for an indefinite period. Some things we have finite supplies, like medications… prescriptions are at home.
2. Victoria does not have “ample supplies”. While I was able to get my first jab at home, Joy was faced with a 4 week wait. At Temora NSW, she faced a 3 week wait. Only once we reached Condobolin did she find a walk-in clinic — the Aboriginal Health Centre — which was vaccinating all comers, regardless of skin colour.
I got my second jab in Maryborough at a walk-in clinic at the Town Hall. Nurse there said people were travelling from Gympie & Kingaroy to get vaccinated, as there were none in their areas! And Pfizer was unobtainable for younger people anywhere!!! The choice was AstraZeneca or AstraZeneca.
“Ample supplies” just don’t exist.
