Re: Good morning daily
Left Goondiwindi yesterday morning heading in the general direction of home. Lots of ‘missed call’ messages arrived as we drove.
Stopped at Warialda to see what the problem was, only to learn that Daniel Bl@@dy Andrews was locking the Vic/NSW border at midnight, and even residents can’t cross for 2 weeks! We were 1100km from home — no possibility of making the border in time!
And as we’d left Qld, we had to apply for passports to do a U-turn!
Finally got back to the Sunshine State. Currently breakfasting in St George.
The current plan (subject to Covid vagaries) is to sit in the CM€@ campsite for a week & see what transpires.
Ho hum. Déjà vu all over again.
Might do the Thargominda-Noccundra loop again… just to pass the time.
Tanks, you’re a bit too far north for a revisit, as we’d like to be able to bolt south if things improve in NSW &/or Victoria.

Re: Good morning daily
Ray, you could go back down to Thallon and stay there for a few days, then wander over to Dirranbandi and free camp next to the river. Or you could slip into Nindigully and camp on the lagoon over from the pub. The guy that runs that c/pk at Dirranbandi does a tour of one of the big cotton farms, maybe Cubbie Station, that will wear out a day.
Safe travels wherever you finish up.

Re: Good morning daily
'tanks" here---
The outside temp is 9.5c degrees at 05:00am today and no BernieQ2 as yet. He is either still in bed, nursing his sore finger, or on the other fly in the sky forum, or he is frozen stiff on his gallop around the block looking at the wildlife.
Where are you mate. It is Thursday today and Major has me out of bed early --but too early to watch the wheelie bin truck because it won't be driving past the Bunker until around 08:00am. Hurry up and post someone, I feel lonely here on my own.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
