Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning again amazing 10c heading to 13c max and rain another day in paradise.

Ray check the NT boarder both for going in and out back into SA. Lot of residents sitting in Broken Hill who are trying to get home. Believe the problem is getting approval from SA health before the police will issue approval. Health has a back log from 13th July and no fix. Wish you the best. People are ringing their local pollies and trying to get them to push harder.

Spent the last couple of days emptying the van and cleaning and washing contents. Looking to sell or trade in on a larger van. Told the GW that we need more time away and as she wishes to cut her work back then we need a long weekend every fortnight and visit different places. We use to do it when we lived on the yacht in Darwin years ago.

Heavy rain at the moment and cold so have fun folks cheers Robert

Good morning everyone. Its a good day for a sleep in I think. It's been blowing a gale for a few hours now and the m/h has been doing a lot of rockn n rolling. Spent most of yesty wandering about the shops at Maleny then went down to Woombye for a feed with the relo's . Not much planned for today yet. Enjoy your bacon and eggs everybody. Safe travels . Only 29 days to go now Dot
Cheers

"tanks" here--
It is 14.5c at Dysart at 07:45 this morning. Still a bit cold for these old bones so I have the reverse cycle running.
No bacon & eggs this morning. I did not get to the IG & A yesterday, so just Carmen's porridge satchel.

Well yesterday gave its all, heavy rain in line squalls with steady rain in between. Dam freezing and strong winds blowing the rain into the garage which has a open side in the SA manner.

Mid afternoon and the daughter reported that one of their large garden sheds had been blown apart and the other had a door ripped of. Lightning strike took out a tree in her neighbours place and power out. Granddaughter 5 was scared of the thunder and lighting.

Because of drop in temperature we had her and the kids come of and stuff the lock down. I suggested they use my generator to keep the fridge going as power was expected to be of till 10pm.

My gen set is a generic 2,2 and I had not started it in 6 months, went out and checked it out. Could not find the plug spanner so set it up to try. Three steady pulls and it fired not bad for a cheap generic model. Loaded it into the car and she took it home for husband to set up and then back for dinner. Meanwhile pop and grannie enjoyed the GK’s.

They received notice that power was back on around 8pm so headed home leaving us to peace, quite and a messy house.

More rain expected today but at lest the house will be quiter.

Take care Robert

Morning people 11c and suppose to be 16c top today with some midday sunshine, we will see.

Awoke at 1:30 am and not the lest bit tired at the moment, not sure what is happening there. Been managing my pain since the last lot of injections and had this month free of the tablets. Still have one bad area so may take another round of injections. Will know more when I see the man at the end of September.

Take care and have a great week cheers Robert
