Re: Nomadic Nolans
Good to hear you made it home again ...... did you really do the trip across NSW in a single day, or was there a bit of time zone adjustment required
How did you allow for the sudden jump forward to the 21st century when leaving Qld?

Re: Nomadic Nolans
The adjustment is a lot easier nowadays T1, we have something up here called electrickery or something like that. We aren't in the dark ages anymore, just ask any Qld politician.

Cheers

Re: Nomadic Nolans
Yes, T1,
We did have to make a time-zone adjustment travelling from Queensland, through NSW to Victoria.
If you go back through this thread you’ll see where it took place.

The transition from Qld to the 21st century was a bit of a wrench, but we managed well. My watch had conniptions as we crossed the border, as it takes the time from satellites. This conflicted with calendars on board.

Re: Nomadic Nolans
Like Bob Katter or Pauline Hanson? They were both Qld born ..... I could ask them but I doubt I could make any sense out of the answerssupersparky wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 5:33 pm The adjustment is a lot easier nowadays T1, we have something up here called electrickery or something like that. Yes. Unfortunately we had to bolt through NSW, so we couldn’t stop overnight in Temora for me to revisit the junk — sorry, ‘antiques’ — yard where I saw it.supersparky wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 7:48 pm Ray, glad that you finally found a way home. Are you still looking for a double boot last?

Re: Nomadic Nolans
Umm..... Must be a Qlder thing that allows you to determine just what it is that either of them are saying ... they both get so tangled up when they try to say anything it comes out as a mixed message while it's actually leaving their lipsNah, they are alright. At least they say what they mean.
