I had my first jab in Corowa (when we didn't need a passport to cross the river), cos I was a regular patient at the clinic.
Joy was refused a jab, cos she goes to a Dr at another clinic in Corowa!
She had to go to outback NSW — to an Aboriginal Health Service — to get hers while we were travelling. Virtually a walk-in. Called at 0930, jab at 1400!
I had my second jab in Maryborough at a walk-in clinic in the town hall... and I was the only patient there.
However, the nurse told me people were travelling from Kingaroy to Maryborough because there were no jabs available locally!
Joy is booked for her second jab Thursday at Wangaratta because the alternative is Wodonga. An uninterrupted 45km vs 52km and a border queue.

Another anti anything to prevent covid died in Texas from covid.

Not unusual in that part of the US or probably not even news worthty here, but his self medication as a prevention/cure was something new. I suspose at least he wouldn't had worms before he died.

My doc was looking into dosing me on Ivermectin to kill a parasitic bug that lived in my gut somewhere. Quite a few of us contracted this bus due to an incident at one of the treatment plants back in the working days.
You really have to feel sorry for some of the people that aren't prepared to get vaccinated. Even though it has been proven for years that vaccines work. Think smallpox, polio mumps, measles........

I used to use ivomectin cattle injection on our animals on the farm.
Never knew people would use .
It was used for worm control.

I used it a lot too Bernie. Used to buy skinny 'fat' lambs at the market, give 'em a shot & then fatten them up on my lucerne paddock.
It actually works on worms and lice.
Brother used to do his dogs as well for worms & fleas.

I also used it for my dogs worm control in NZ mainly because of the amount of sheep and the places we used to go for the dog shows. Speaking of worms, When I did my stints working in the rug rat wards most of the kids would have itchy bums, so at night we would lift the blankets, place a chocolate biscuit a few inches from the kids bum, when the worm came out for the biscuit we would chop his head off. Just thought you might like to know.

I think, that like most of us on this forum, that I was just a bit concerned that cattle drench could/would be used on humans. I'm hoping that things have moved on in my life and I don't need it any more. Like Bruce said, I used it on lamb years ago and they thrived. Dunno if I need it that much.
