Fertiliser company in SA we deal with is trialling a new product which contains humus and used coffee grounds gathered from restaurants & cafes.
They have tentatively called it “Human Beans”.
I’m so glad they resisted the temptation to call it “Soylent Green”…

On the coffee grounds as fertiliser, we open up our Aldi coffee pods, after they have delivered their goodness for making coffee, and pour the used grounds into the composter tumble bin where all the vegie scraps go ..... it really lifts the soil or at least how well the plants seem to pick up .... then again, maybe it keeps the worms awake so they work twice as hard

Loved the people scoops on the front of the trucks, volvos I think ? Always wanted to build one then I realised these generations would not get it. See they used the idea for modern day dump trucks though.

Charlton Heston was the star as I recall, as a young fella, God, how long has he been dead ? Never forget the leg of lamb in the fridge of the comrade either.

.... and the whole idea of "furniture" where the young female ... or male I guess, could actually part of the accessories that went with renting an apartment .... what sort of a stir would that cause these days ......

It wasn't all that long ago, you knew you were going well if you could afford to buy lamb .... so maybe they got that part correct ;)

Just had a look at a couple of U tube vids about the movie, forgot it was set in 2022. We are screwed ! Also forgot the role of Edward G Robinson in his 101 st movie, sheesh that man could act.
