Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Just be careful that when you seal it, it doesn't become slippery when wet.

Thanks George a couple been done around here and all ok.

Heard a noise out front and as the boys were not expected till around 11am went to check. Full crew with digger and truck of base. Boss came over and said he was not happy with the last two metres of the driveway. A heavy shower as they were pouring so they are now ripping up 10 m2 and replacing.

Will see how the day goes Robert

We felt that earthquake in Rutherglen.
Windows rattled, floor vibrated a bit, but no structural damage I could see. Nothing fell off shelves etc, although items on the bathroom vanity unit swayed a little.
Kelly (dog) woke up and ran to me for comfort. She’s still a bit unsettled.
Regards & God bless,

The office building where Julie worked until March of last year (on the foreshore of Newcastle harbour) swayed enough for it to be evacuated and the few who were inside and had their cars parked in the basement were not allowed to reenter to get their cars. Taxis were arranged for them to get home.

We were in a factory at Riverwood, in Sydney when the Newcastle earthquake happened, the factory shook & shuddered it wasn't until we were in our vehicle driving home that we realised what had happened.

Bernie, always remember my parents especially Dad talking about Herne Bay settlement, think they had friends living in it, I'm a little to young to remember more about it.
