Dottie,
Look after your night stalker… Brushtail Possums are rarely seen these days.
Ringtails are the common ones.

Not up here Ray, haven't seen a Ringtail for 20 years but the Brushtails are in abundance. Brushtails like to live in roofs, Ringtails prefer to inhabit trees.

Enjoy having some forumites visit Dot. Sounds relaxing xxxx
You got that right George. We have a few colonies of brushtailed possums in the park. I regularly hear them landing on my roof late at night and there are a few trees in the hood, where you know not to get too close at dusk. The possums own those trees and no people are welcome.
Had a quiet day as the migraine drugs wore off. The pieces that were being flattened in the kiln last night are now being heated to fuse back together. Slow old process, but interesting all the same.
Had a hot day here and the usual storm at sunset. Lots of noise, but not much rain.

Goodnight Dot X
& good morning, the 4 lads coming over to stay this arvo better get busy & make them some cup cakes.
I found a baby ringtail on our front lawn some time ago, rang Wires they told me what to do & collected same the next day, few months later I had a call to let me know it survived & had been released, we have both type locally. We use to have the gliding possums 25 yrs ago when fewer folk lived here & there were more trees but haven't seen any of them for a long time.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Thanks Dot, the headaches are still sort of floating around. Takes a while to get rid of these totally, but will eventually get some relief. Have fun with G's dental app. Always better when you are not the one in the chair. xxxx
The kiln piece is still being fired tonight. but it looked like there is possibly a crack through it. It may survive, but I am dubious, expecting to have to start all over again with it tomorrow. It will be worth the fuss, once finished, so not stressing over it.
After a perfect day yesterday, today was over cast, windy and cold. Can't predict the weather now.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
What a ripper of a day and more to come till the end of the week. G's dental appointment went very well, no charge for the treatment needed to fix the problem , have a fantastic dentist.
Man came and took the bees away that took over the possums box.
Mumma blackbird still sitting on her nest and I am knackered from another day of doing 0 again. Time to have my coco and a biccy then off to bed so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight BernieQ x
