Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery Joy.
No more ladders for anyone I reckon. Bloody things are dangerous.

So? Title says "Another project done!" ......... I guess NOT done on this one yet?
Funnily enough, no.

For some strange reason SWMBO has decided to employ a professional painter to finish the job...

So sorry to hear about Joy’s accident, Ray. Give her a hug from us and wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope someone has confiscated your ladders!
Cheers

What a bummer. Joy has our sympathy and I know exactly how she feels having been there and done that.

Only just returned to read this thread, poor Joy, hope she is past the worst of the pain and the recovery is swift and successful. You might even learn to cook now Ray and be a contender for the Taggerty Master Chef comp ;)
After all the people on the forum falling off roof tops and ladders, I might have to rethink my climbing on caravan and motorhome roofs without a harness ..... and ban Margaret from doing it, she needs to stay fit and healthy to look after me in my declining (or is that reclining) years

Hope both Joy and yourself return to better health and leave the dangerous jobs to those that get paid to take the risks

Thanks T1,

We have already come to the conclusion that our health & wellbeing are worth more than the cost of paying a professional painter. 🤔

Cheap health insurance…

Joy is still in pain (natch!) and further bruises are emerging, a week after the accident.

However, she is learning to get about with the crutches.

I am temporarily promoted to Head Chef (Under Instruction), and as posted earlier, our Thermomix is getting much more exercise at the moment. 😁
