I couldn't think of a fitting name for this thread, so this one seemed to fit.
With a very heavy heart, I need to announce the passing of Wendy Merrett, much loved wife of Bruce our forum founder. Wendy died in her sleep late last week and Bruce asked to give it a few days while he came to terms with it.
Please respect Bruce's wishes to handle this in his own way, so no phone calls or PM's etc please, but I'm sure it would be fine to post a memory of the happy and fun times we shared with this wonderful person.

Bruce, sincere sympathy, although I have never met either of you, l have read your posts for years & many happy memories that others have posted about Wendy's hospitality, l'm sure she was a beautiful lady, one really feels that they know members, thinking of you.
