A lizards calling card

Post by Dot »

[ attachment=0]lizard-poop-white-tip.jpg[/attachment]

I thought you forum scholars would like to see what a lizards poop looks like.  Brian went out and started sniffing around a weird looking thing near the back door. It is about 40 mm long black and a little dollop of while along side . The black is poop and the white is the pee  Da dah.

Isn't it amazing how reptiles can change their poop colours to match their stripes... and make it look like a white chololate drop too. Millions of years of evolution.

We have a resident Bearded Dragon living in our Rosemary hedge.
He climbs to the top and sits sunning himself on fine days.

Here he is relaxing on our retaining wall, across the path from his hedge. 😀
