Was typing up a report on yesterdays alterations/additions to the van & Cruiser... then went out to take a measurement... returned added that to the message & when I hit send - the log in screen came up!!!
Any way I can recover that message or do I need to start again...
Hi Chuck.
I think it would be gone unfortunately.
I have been logged out myself a couple of times. Not sure why.
Someone else suggested writing the message in notepad or similar & copying it over when you're ready if it's a long detailed message.
I'm involved on another forum that it happens to all the time.
(both logging out & losing posts before posting) Damn frustrating for sure.
What you are describing can easily happen if you go to look up some post or info on Google & it does it in the same window.
I personally have tabs turned off & always just open another browser window. That enables you to stay on the compose post window as well as look at our forum in the other browser window.
Seems we can be logged in in as many browser windows as we like. (to the same forum)
sorry!

I hilight the post and right click copy, then if the post goes into hyperspace it's just a matter of opening the reply window any and right click paste, saves the rise in blood pessure or the step backwards of buying a fruit machine
The CM.. forum was a terror for doing it, I think I must have doubled the power of the ether with all the lost posts I've got floating around there.
