Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning all. A bit cooler forecast for today. Might go for a drive up to Greenings & watch the crew working on Brian's boat!

Morning Bob, I snuck a little sleep-in :D
Didn't get up to anything yesterday, The "boss" went to a end of year party.
Looking at the weather I might just do what your doing Bob...I have some mulch to move BUT.,..grrr.
I seen the Brolga's on my walk yesterday...been awhile since I have had the privilege.
Where are you Helen??
Keep safe out there.

Late good morning again from me. Did a bit of bait wasting yesty arvo from the BiL boat. Saw some swans, ducks, seagulls and even a pelican, but no brolga. There are a few in the swamp, way out the road, but not on our walking track. Stay hydrated everyone, this warm weather dries you out pretty quick.
Cheers

"Bait Wasting"
That's my problem as well
I've been told that "Catching" is supposedly better than fishing. ;)

Speaking of bait, we used to go around 40 miles out from Whitianga Nth Isl NZ, the morning of this adventure for the "guests" our friend used to cook up a hearty breakfast of Hapuka (groper) liver, fried eggs, grilled tomato, sausage, onions, & toast . Gas up the boat and head out. Anchor down, rods ready, bait chopping board was in use, guests were asked if they wanted a cuppa before the fishing started... If you answered yes, the cups were set up and if you wanted milk sugar etc that was added BUT the stirring utensil was the bait knife wiped on a rag and stirred you cuppa, Just then the cry was heard " Ground bait laid" and rods were put to use   That was the newbies introduction to fishing.... If you were too crook you were dropped off at one of the islands for the day and picked up when ever. Another tip for the "green ones" was not to go below to the loo ,especially if there was a good swell. Ladies advised to pee in the provided bucket. Miss those days...

Good morning everyone. I might as well have done nothing yesty. After the morning walk, did bugger all. Did some more bait wasting up the canal. Now I need more beer.
Happy hump day everybody, have a great day. Safe travels, try not to catch Covid.
