Covid
Not happy Jan- no, we do not have covid. Tuesday we went to Bundy-again- for Bruce's cousin's funeral. Got message yesterday to get tested (first time)as does everyone at the funeral. The son & grandson came up from Newcastle! at 1am last Monday morning when the borders opened, with Newcastle being a hot spot. Results not back as yet but on phone this morning with Wide Bay health contact tracing as all at funeral have to quarantine till 4.30pm 29th! even if negative. There are going to be a lot of McLellans having very quiet Christmases this year. Mitchell and partner start 2 weeks holiday and they were also at the funeral- great holiday in quarantine. I know, we lucky to not be going through what so many have done but still not easy to accept. Ah well, today spent windows/ screens cleaning! HOuse will be spotless in 2 weeks and Bob, the jigsaws will definatly be coming out. Just as well we did not call in on way home Thursday like we did the week before. Anyway, have a wonderful Christmas all of you and if on the road please travel safely. See you in the New Year.

Re: Covid
Not the greatest news Kay, but maybe not a lot different to the way many of us will be spending Christmas and New yrs .... but to the 29th .... is that December or Jan?

Re: Covid
T1, that would be real funny, if it wasn't just so true. I don't think anyone but the Victorian's can really appreciate that gag.

Re: Covid
As a Victorian I can appreciate the gag but still don't like it.
I went to get my booster but can't have one because of my severe heart failure. Not allowed the Physer or Moderna because there have been medical issues for people like me that had the Astra zenny stuff.Needs to be clarified by my doctor to what I can have, the next appointment is 31/01/2022.

Many times, myocarditis may subside on its own without treatment, much like a cut on your finger eventually heals. Even some cases that go on for a long time may never create sudden symptoms of heart failure.
""" Some people may experience rare, more complex side effects after their booster jab such as allergic reactions, blood clotting, and heart inflammation or myocarditis. These very rare side effects can be a bit more serious, with allergic reactions leading to anaphylaxis or swelling of the heart resulting in chest pains or palpitations.""""
I won't hold it against you for being a Victorianite
