The Qld gummint has suspended non-urgent elective surgery for two months.
That’s not quite the message conveyed on the crawler… If you are not listening to the newsreader, the message is that all essential surgery has been suspended.

Thats a bit weird isn't it. I caught just the end of that bulletin and I wonder how they would stop people requiring non-elective surgery. Just don't hurt yourself or get sick

The so called "reporters and those powers that be people" in front of the camera's can't even read their notes or even auto cues without stuffing up.

I guess some reporters in front of the camera are more human than others and make mistakes , some just shouldn't have that job. As for me ,I'm perfect,just ask me

When in front of the camera, sometimes you lose co-ordination between brain & tongue.
But there’s really no excuse for some of the stuff-ups with the printed word.
