Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Your right about the docs, Bob. I had a teleconference with mine yesty, going to need an MRI on my neck and a CT scan on the lungs now, apparently. We drove up to Hervey Bay. Will be here til the weekend. Babysitting a dog. Looks like another good day to be in the pool.
Safe travels everybody, happy hump day.

Good morning/afternoon, raining here and the same forecast for the next ten days but at least the temperature has dropped however, I can't say the same for the humidity.

The amount of times that you have hauled out the engine and g/box you should be able to do it in your sleep. ;)

Yep, Almost a nightmare. Just steady work. At the point to slip the hoist in and start to undo the mounts. And then man handle 800kgs of cold steel.

Not easier to just unbolt the gearbox and hang that on a sling through the floor? Learnt that trick while working for a bus yard in Tassie. Had to change the clutch on the side of the road just out of Hobart, all went fine until I tried to lift the gearbox back in .... ended up with it sitting on my chest because I was too exhausted to lift it either up into place for one more try or roll it off me ..... just lucky another bus driver stopped for a chat and found me pinned under there and rescued me .... every bus clutch job after that involved a hatch cut in the floor ....

Unfortunately not. It's tucked up to high and cross members and floor joists are in the way.
