Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Shirley, you are right about the grass growing at the mo'. I only mowed ours last week and it is getting pretty long again. We have had nearly 70mm of showers since last Tuesday.
Bruce, is it shags/ cormorants that are getting into your yabbie pots?
Has anyone heard from Robert not Bob or Molly lately?
Cheers

I think a combination of all of them David.
Even the yabbies know it's too dangerous to come out in daylight hours.
I baited fresh at about half an hour before dark, went around them by torch at 11:30PM & got a 'bunch', then again half an hour before sunup & got another 'bunch'. I just went around at 11:30AM & got 2! admittedly it was 'stale' bait.
I'll rebait tonight just on dark & shift to a new place. I'm sure there are more "bunches"!

There is a strip of friction plate material "glued" to the flywheel and pressure plate. No visible heating to either surface. Wire brushed, roughed with a little bit of sand paper.

Need to buy a new friction plate.
Maybe use a brass button or graphite inlaid friction material, then you really know you have been over working the clutch  the smell from the graphite gives you a warning you are working it too hard, the brass button one will shake your teeth out if you work it too hard ;)

We use a tin of cat food in our crab pots, punch a few holes around the top & it last a few days only thing you need gloves it does start to stink after a few days.
Bruce at least you don't have lawns to mow, I did get the front yard completed in a couple of really light showers, started on the street & the rain came down heavy, turned the mower off, washed the grass catcher, returned the full green bin to holiday neighbours house to be emptied tomorrow & it stopped, so a bit wet I put the mulcher thing on the mower & finished the job.
Now the suns out with grey clouds floating around, this is what the weather has been like last week 10 days.
Hopefully we will bowl tomorrow. :D

Bruce, what a good idea.

I have a hand pallet fork lift and stick it in the front of the bus.

It hoists the engine up a little and then I rest it down on wood that straddles the fork lift wheels.
I need to shift the blocks around to clear the axle.

I read up on it a bit. Was a very early idea by DAF way back when Jesus was a baby Unisex.
