Glad you had a better outcome with the hogget Dot. Your poor Kiwi mate, the law is just such an ass. xxxx
We have had a weird weather day , with lightning and thunders and huge rain. That helped us to decide it was an inside4, do nothing sort of day. It was quite restful.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
?? credit card info please, I bought some bits at Big W, used credit card as I always do, the lady asked me to put my PIN # in, (had to ask G what it was) then at the Cancer clinic the same thing, this time I tried x 2 times and was rejected so I went and got G's card and all ok? I always use my card for everything and very very rarely do I get asked to do the PIN thing??? Next door had his radio BLASTING all day, why do people do that? are they deaf or F wits? Serious effort now to get this place sold..Sold my dehydrator today, the lady that bought is from Willunga and her son went to school with my nephew (he recently died from Brain cancer, has been a drunk and junkie since he was 15) Had no time for the bum. Hope your kiln is making nice plates again Deborah. Bed time now so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Shirley x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, agreed the number of times that you have to remember some kind of pin number, password or such, my mind just freezes. Glad to be in good company. xxxx
Our garden is enjoying the lovely rainy weather. I tried to use the same mold that the last disaster plate was formed on. I reckon it's not the mold! The glass isn't quite yellow, instead it's an olivey green with blue waves. I am happy with that. Back to squashing wine bottles today, such a boring thing, but they are popular.

I'm back to annoy...Hi Dot xxxx
Today's job was to built up some already fired glass into earrings. I am happy with them, as the friend has asked for really big ones. That's what she will get. I have run out of proper display sheets for earrings, so they are on cardboard. Once the friend takes what she wants, the rest will travel in a box and as I sell some off the display, they will fill in the spaces. Earrings are my best selling objects, so they will be sold. The kiln is bending some handles onto wine bottles.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
chair sleep last night. Plate looking good Deborah so keep going Shirley. Hope things went well for you today. G off to physio tomorrow but I'm staying home (alone time)
He is also going to call into the air con places to see what is best to do, we had this air con in when we built 1979 and I think it may be not as economic as the newer ones. Suppose all the ducting would need to be redone as well. Watched a bit of those nutters skating down that bloody big hill and jumping off into the never never = crazy. Did like some of the ice skating though. Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Sounds like a bit of quiet time would be good Dot. xxxx
Had a bit of medical stuff on today (no dramas) and then we had a look at some lounge suites in a new shop. They are a lot more pricey than when we last bought a lounge (17 years ago). The lounge is still looking pretty good, but I am just so over sticking to the leather in hot weather and really want to get a fabric lounge for a change. We did find one that we like, but will do more research. Maybe tomorrow, see how we wake up.
Bottles are good, so another pair in the kiln to flatten tonight.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot re credit cards you will have a limit of $100 where you do not have to use your pin after that the pin request comes in.
Airconditoner we have the same problem but replacement around 14/15k. If you go ducted make sure you request ducting of the same size through out. With our original one they dropped down a size when branching of the main duct. This is a No No I have been told and at lest two air return vents.
Cheers Robert

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I thought that when Covid came in they upped the sing in pin to $200 but it looks like its gone back to $100.
Bought diesel today at Moss Vale NSW 172.7c/L = 64.04L = $110.59
then got home and found my Seniors [NSW Regional] travel card for $250. Could have spent it.
