Good morning, 23 mostly sunny is the prediction after a violent thunderstorm & lightning show last night, very little rain fell.
I have finally ordered my new bowls can't wait for them to arrive, hopefully I'll be able to hold them better, arthritis in hands.
Think I'll mow the top of our hill today, can't keep up with the mowing at present, to many other app., & things to do.
Bought g'son Oliver 8, a fishing rod on Monday, he was unbelievable happy, he spends a lot of time on the jetty with Nathan fishing, caught a small black fish, only gave it to him y'day, think he's hooked on fishing too now.
Good morning daily

Good morning Helen & everyone else!!
Jon I can't wait till you tell us about hooking up the diesel line & priming the system! We'll know then you're getting ready for "a kick in the guts" and a trip around the block! Still registered I hope? hehe

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning all. We had a power cut scheduled for 9pm-5am last night however, due to the electrical storm, rain included, which started at 8:50pm, the work will have to be rescheduled. Luckily, I did some mowing at 8pm while the grass was dry and I was in the shade.

Re: Good morning daily
You know that saying, "It never rains but it pours" they have never been to Mannum it seems ...... raining at the moment but only heavy enough to hear it on the workshop roof, no sign on the ground
Have a customer who turned up this morning who has the usual story, spent a small fortune at each auto sparky as she travelled through and still doesn't have a working system .... sadly, very little of what the auto sparkies have fitted is of any use for the job required and is really a mis-matched array of things fighting each other or not suitable for the mixture of solar panels fitted .... and the 2 x 120Ah batteries fitted less than 12mths ago are "stuffed" because the system has not been charging them properly
Rarely the case that we have stripping out just about everything and starting again, but in this case .... at least we can use the mains charger ... the rest is near new so she might be able to get some of her money back reselling the stuff on evilbay ......

Bruce,
That's the most easy part. Connect the lines, a couple of pumps and start the engine. Of course it's still registered. Has been since the day the engineer approved all the changes and the RWC issued. And, it would pass another roadworthy tomorrow.

Re: Good morning daily
Hi Shirley,
No, we're constrained by time (school holidays) and covid. So are trying to do bits each year.
We try for 2/3 week trip and the like. Had the Nullarbor (Melb - Eucla) planned last year but Covid stopped that. Was going to be a quick drive to Port Augusta and then slow to Eucla. Then a quick drive back to Ceduna where the family would fly home for school/work and I drive back slowly.
We did something similar to Uluru. 2 weeks to get there and look around. Then fly home. Works well for our situation, although a bit more expensive.
And Tassy was a circle trip via the SoT. Again, limited by time so we see and enjoy as much as possible.

Re: Good morning daily
Nup, still looking. But the "smart money" is suggesting that I have knocked them out of my pocket when I have put an armfull of branches onto the fire the other night. But she was wrong last time. I reckon they will be wherever they have been moved to. If you recall, it took a while to find them last time.
Been on the whipper snipper all day. It is now officially beer o'clock.
Cheers
