Just got off the phone with Services NSW, just getting the correct dept line is trick on its own .... then had the long argument that I couldn't do it on line because it always came up with the same ending, "you need to call into a service centre or ring this number" so I've rung the number and now you have the job of sorting it .....
Then the usual identification B/S, then told I'd have to do it on line to get a replacement card and pay $38 .... no, never received the first card so it is an initial issue not a replacement .... then the B/S that there was nothing on their computers to say it had been paid .... so I offered the receipt number ... then it mysteriously turned up with me giving her the receipt number .... then the B/S that it had been sent out on the 21/10/20, where was it sent, what address did you give ... no, you tell me what address you sent it to ..... did you give them the mailing address rather than the address on the licence ... yes, what was that address .... nice try, what address was it mailed to ..... that got no where, so I said it was a post office box number so it can't be put down to lost from the roadside mail box ...... nothing .... I then said I could do the reverse mail search to find out if it ever actually reached the mail system ...... you can do that if you want but it won't help ..... this phone call has been recorded for training purposes at your end ... yes ... it is being recorded at this end as well, so there is proof I've actually made this call and who I was talking to .... you can't do that without notifying me first ... yes I can because that right was negated when the recording said this phone was being recorded and you just admitted it was being recorded .... a very long pause then .... we can not reissue a licence over the phone .... so we had gone full circle ...... you will have to go to a NSW service centre .... How am I supposed to get there without a copy of a valid licence, walk or something .... You can download a digital copy on the NSW services site ..... does my licence appear in the NSW Service app for a digital licence .... yes ... so you knew the licence was valid when we first started the merry go-round of B/S .... I'm just trying to do my job .... is the digital licence valid .... yes ..... then I don't actually need the card then ...... not unless you want a card licence ...... thank you, hope you have a nice day .... couldn't hear what she mumbled after that and hung up ......
So, as you can tell by that diatribe of B/S ... it is a hopeless cause .... as for getting the rego transfer done .... not a hope .... that has vanished into the system some where .... so that will require me to actually front up at a NSW Services office to fight it out face to face ..... Probably the best I can hope for then is an unregistered vehicle transfer paper ... but at least in my name .... and the choice of the right SA Services office .... rego without the B/S .....

Re: Good morning daily
While talking to operator yesterday at 11:30 I was told that Niki would call me to discuss the matter. Waited and waited until phone rang at 6:23 but I didn't get to it on time and a message was left by Niki stating that she would ring again in the morning. I tried ringing the number that she rang on but it didn't even ring. As at this time, 1pm, I still havent heard from her.

Good afternoon.
Because of impending rain I decided to split the timber I got from son's place.
It's the last time I use the tomahawk, bloody took forever..
